This little gem is ideal for people visiting Tongatapu for business or holiday. It's a self contained cottage on the same property as the owner's home. Conveniently located, it's in a quiet garden setting and 15 minutes walk to central Nuku'alofa.
“My partner and I only stayed one night at Amy’s but we would highly recommend this Airbnb— Amy was super easy to communicate with and helped us maximize our time in Tongatapu. We also enjoyed being walking distance (~5 min) from a reliable taxi stand as well as downtown Nuku’alofa and the royal palace. Lastly, this place was great value for money and had all the amenities should you want to cook. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!”
Nikki and Paea welcome you. We have a choice of four fales available to book. . This one... a traditional style -Vaimalo Fale. This fale sits overlooking a lagoon abundant with coral and fish life. We await to host you after COVID 19 and borders re open. Meanwhile we are building a jetty!
“We stayed with Nikki and Paia for 5 days during our time in Vava’u and had the most INCREDIBLE experience. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s and have never felt so at home. Nikki and Paia are such wonderful people and have such a lovely home directly on the coral reef in the quiet town of Vaimalo. We visited Vava’u to swim with the humpback whales and Paia drove us into town to catch the boat. They even let you rent their car if you want to explore the island on your own (or you can take an island tour with Paia). Staying here also gave us such an authentic view into Tongan culture - something we would have never gotten if we had stayed at a resort or hotel. We helped Paia with his garden that he grows to feed the local community, explored the coral reef, met the local children, and spent time cooking and chatting with Nikki over coffee and fresh fruit. We 10000% recommend staying here if you want a local experience in Vava’u. We are already planning our trip back!”
