Bungalow vacation rentals in Nova Scotia

The house was perfect for our stay in Glace bay, the nook in the kitchen had a beautiful view of the bay that you could sit and eat breakfast at. The house is right on a main road and we thought there may be issues with noise of traffic travelling through. We were pleasantly surprised that it was very quiet in the bedrooms and didn’t really hear the cars. We will definitely be back.

I can’t say enough about what a gem this cottage is! Everything you need and more in the house, comfy beds and couches, amazing neighbours, private beach, million dollar views, lots of privacy, great fire pit. Everything was absolutely perfect !! I rang in my 40th year on the ocean and I could not have asked for a better place to do so. Our 3 kids had the time of their lives too, so many great memories made :)

I had another wonderful stay at Joh and Sandy’s place. The home is perfectly set up for everything you will need and the location is absolutely beautiful. A short stroll down the path of trees and wildflowers takes you to the pristine Bra d’or Lake. It’s a private oasis with chairs and a hammock to enjoy the serenity and magic of the lake. Lots of wildlife to enjoy (two deer came for a few visits!). If you like peace and tranquility, this is the place. Thank you John and Sandy for a lovely time at your cottage. I’ll see you next year! :)

Tanya's place was our #1 favorite Airbnb that was stayed at during our mother/daughter trip around Nova Scotia. The location is secluded but you are a short 15 minute drive to restaurants and another 15 max to Peggy's Cove. The house is so beautiful and amazing that is actually sits on top of a rock (the front porch is the rock)! Many opportunities to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the water. The beds were THE most comfortable and amenities like washer and dryer were great as well. We chatted with Tanya the morning we were leaving and she gave us a walk around of future plans for another building on site, which only lead to my mom and I making the immediate decision that we WILL BE BACK! Next time we will stay for longer than just one night, it is worth spending several days here.

Charmé dès notre arrivée. Espaces extérieurs agréables. Grandes pièces lumineuses. Salon confortable, solarium offrant une vue sur l’eau et les couchers de soleil. Beaucoup de livres et de jeux à notre disposition. Balade à pied ou en kayak très agréable. Parfait pour les amoureux de la nature aimant la tranquillité. Suzanne est une personne disponible et très agréable. Un chasse-moustiques est recommandé ainsi que des chaussures d’eau car la plage est plutôt rocailleuse. Comme un peu partout; les perces-oreilles s’invitent parfois à l’intérieur. Suzanne a su créer un oasis de paix avec un terrain bien aménagé.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Darlene’s beautiful home. It was peaceful and the well furnished deck facing the water was gorgeous. We watched the sunrises and sunsets and all the birds kept us entertained. It’s a great location - short drive to downtown.

My husband and I just had the BEST stay ! the hosts were so kind, quick to respond to any questions and so considerate. The home away from home was even better than the photos shown and so well taken care of. I truly cannot rave about it more , will be returning and recommending to all. The calm serene view is just an added bonus. Don't think twice just book it you won't regret it :) !!!!! Thank you Jay and team for a great getaway.

We couldn't have been happier! Lyndy's lake house was beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean and had lots of pantry items that we were able to use. The location is absolutely beautiful being right on the lake. Our kids played for hours by the water. Lyndy was very responsive and even left us some gluten-free cookies in the freezer when she found out that my daughter had Celiac Disease; something that had never been done for us before. It made my daughter so happy. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, and the place was sparkling clean. We immediately felt at home. We were thrilled that the location was so convenient to downtown and just a short drive to the University and the mall. Thank you Mike and Heather for sharing your bungalow with us.

The accommodation is spotless and exactly as described. Place is very comfortable and you can easily do your cooking as kitchen utensils were supplied. Enjoyed our stay

Had a wonderful time at Derek's home for a girl's get together weekend. We enjoyed each having our own room and the rest of the home was suited to our needs. Being so close to the beach is an awesome perk! We want to return :)

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Aldo's. The home was super clean...great beds...plenty of towels. The coffee station was great and the kitchen was very well stocked. The welcome gifts were a generous surprise. We are very grateful to have found this home. Thank.you Aldo and family!

Great place for us to spend a night on our trip back from PEI. The home is roomy and clean. The hosts have the basement suite so you have the entire main floor! Beautiful big deck out back overlooking the ocean in the distance. Pictou about a 20 minute drive away…… if you enjoy live music make sure to check out the deCoste Centre………beautiful and intimate venue! Thanks Paul and Eleanor for a nice stay!

Debbie’s house is beautiful! It is in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you need. Grateful for the washer and dryer and all of the little extra touches.
