Vacation rentals with a fire pit in North Norfolk District

We had an absolutely wonderful family weekend in Victoria’s beautiful farmhouse. There was everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. All the bedrooms were great and the garden is beautiful - the children loved the trampoline! We also loved having the cats around - very friendly! Thank you so much. We had a great time!

We had the BEST time at Georgia’s place in Ely. She was so helpful and friendly, and we arrived to find delicious biscuits and a note welcoming us. The house is so beautiful and full of amazing plants, and really comfortable - especially the beds! Easy to walk into Ely from the house, no issue with noise or parking, and everything we needed in the kitchen etc. One word of advice if you’re travelling with young children - we found the front bedroom quite light (despite the lovely shutters) and had late bedtimes and early mornings, courtesy of our toddler! Not a complaint at all though, just consider bringing blackout blinds. The back bedroom was darker for our older child. No issue at all if it’s just adults staying. We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon.

We had a great stay at Baker’s Yard. Location is perfect for coastal path walks and for village amenities. Looking forward to staying again.

A beautiful, spacious and quirky house. Many historic features kept in the renovations but nothing too precious so the children (aged 9-12) were able to play inside & out. The huge kitchen/dinner/lounge made a great family space to eat or chill out with plenty of furniture for all ten of us. We all enjoyed pottering about in the river behind the house in the little boat & Toby lent us a bigger boat & kayaks for a longer trip in a better part of the river. We toasted marshmallows over the fire pit, cooked pizza in the pizza oven & watched bats flying over the water in the evenings. Good beaches & a cinema are only half an hour drive away and the Emmaus charity shop & cafe (10min in the car, 45min walk) is well worth a visit. Good biscuits in the kitchen when we arrived was a nice touch.

Kerry is such a lovely host. The place was really beautiful and cool, we had such a peaceful stay. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and you can walk right into the National Park. We had a very relaxing stay. Thank you so much.

3 blissful nights at Bonney’s Barn that really did feel like home from home. The barn is lovely. Cosy and welcoming with local apple juice and cookies waiting for your arrival, perfect for the weary traveller. Bedrooms are great sizes and the beds are very comfortable. My daughter loved the hot tub and the outside seating area is perfect to enjoy the sunset with something cold (and preferably alcoholic). The barn is peaceful and private but you will need a car to get anywhere. We had beach rides in Lowestoft organised and did an afternoon trip to Southwold and Burgh St Peter was well placed for both. The Wheatacre White Lion is fab for food and I imagine the perfect place when the sun is shining as they’ve got a lovely garden at the front. When we managed to trip the fuse box Shaun was quick to help and even offered to replace the offending toaster by the following morning which was great. All in all a fabulous stay and somewhere we will definitely return to.

With less than 10 hours to check-in, a host who'd we had booked with 12 months previous cancelled our booking. In desperation, I searched for alternative accommodation while trying to pack, communicate with fellow travellers and the host who let us down! To the rescue came Kelvin who unexpectedly responded within minutes and said hey no problem the place is yours for the weekend. An absolute gem both personally and the house itself. Easy access to beach, local shops, pub and restaurants and only 10 mins into Great Yarmouth. House very comfortable and well equipped. And the games room was a big hit with us all.

Angela was a wonderful host. Her family was so friendly and welcoming. The barn was so cozy, clean and peaceful. In such a good location. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you for our stay.

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Can't recommend this beautiful little gem highly enough. We came up to stay here as were attending a wedding locally and it was perfect in every way. Quiet, secluded but not off the beaten track and easy to find. Beautiful views, super clean and everything had been thought of. Our hosts were kind, thoughtful and friendly. We feel like we've had a mini holiday, The Lily Pad made our weekend very special. We will be back I hope next time we come up to visit.

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

I took my two kids to stay at Moat Island for a couple of nights during Half Term whilst we visited relatives nearby. It was the perfect mid-point location, but also felt like a special and memorable site. The bell tents are cosy and warm, and the composting toilet next to ours was the nicest I’ve ever used. I found myself going to it repeatedly when I only needed to walk about 20m more to get to the plumbed indoor ones! We enjoyed having a communal kitchen area, as it allowed us to chat to a few our ‘neighbours’. The outdoor pond/pool was utterly freezing, but worth a dip. And thankfully the nearby showers were gloriously warm.

Lovely hut in a lovely spot. Perfect for a weekend away. The hut was exactly as described and there were a few extra nice touches the hosts provided. Use of a pair of bicycles was great and we enjoyed exploring the area. We would greatly recommend this place and we hope to return at some point in the future.

Lovely stay, the chalets are in a quiet part of the park which was great, there is a nice community bar a couple of minutes away the other side of the park with activities most nights. Great location, 5-10 walk to beach (Along the beach road which has arcades, etc), 15 mins drive to Great Yarmouth (though bus stops are close by too). The chalets have everything you could want, they're beautifully coordinated, comfortable and clean. Nina and Andrew gave clear instructions, quickly responded to any queries and were very friendly.

I cannot thank the hosts enough for their hospitality. Questions were answered promptly, they were flexible , all you had to do was ask. The place was pristine and very well kept and I can't fault it in any way. If I am in the local area I wouldn't hesitate getting their accommodation again. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Ben’s cosy cabin. It was a lovely relaxing getaway. The cabin was in a beautiful location with friendly piggies and chirpy birds - it was perfect environment and just what we needed to relax and wind down. The cabin had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

just amazing, we spent our 1st wedding anniversary in primrose cabin and couldn't have been happier with our stay! so peaceful & relaxing, hot tub warm on arrival & rose petals and bottle of bubbles to greet us, which was a fabulous touch! We so appreciated you helping us celebrate our special occasion. cannot recommend enough, will definitely return 🤍😍

Lovely private cabin in beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and lots of activity space outside (we set up a badminton court!) The photos don't do the cabin justice! Plenty big enough for 4 adults and a dog. Debbie was extremely helpful and responsive, would definately come back.

Sam was a lovely host , place was a tad difficult to find due to a road closure , but Sam was responsive over the phone and helped sort us now with no issues . Cabin was lovely , forest retreat it is ! Lovely and quiet . And her dogs were lovely . Overall a lovely experience , thank you 😊

Great property, cottages, location and hosts! Everything was great, quiet and just what you expect. The only feedback was electrical charging for cars didnt always work as not super fast! Would highly recommend overall.

We had such a lovely time during our stay in this secret garden as Helen describes it! It's so unusual and peaceful 😌 Helen was so friendly and made us feel comfortable and at home! Would most definitely stay here again

Lovely cosy cabin that was just what we wanted for a chilled Easter break. The first evening we arrived we sat in the sun over looking the fields and saw hares and skylarks. Amazingly, we also had the company of a muntjak deer who walked within 10 meters of us. The accommodation was great and the area had looks to do and see. All round a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at Claire's cabin. It was me, my husband and our 2 year old and we had so much fun - we were really lucky with the weather and it was lovely to play outside. Everything was as described and we just let ourselves in and off we went. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Claire but she sent us clear instructions prior to our arrival. Would definitely stay again.
