Vacation rentals with beach access in North Hobart

We truly enjoyed our stay in Hobart at Janina’s and Gary’s place. They are very welcoming and ready to share their knowledge and tips to visiting Hobart, and Tasmania. The extra touches of toasting bread, jam and butter, and tea and coffee were appreciated for breakfast. Close by is an IGA for groceries and a Porter’s for wine and beer. Nearby beaches were just right for relaxing. Salamanca Market is about a 10-minute drive. Can’t go wrong booking this location. It is a wonderful pied à terre in Hobart!

Sally's place was ideal for our 3 nights in Hobart. Easy to park and only 10 mins walk (few hills) into downtown Hobart and Wharf - great local pubs and cafes within 5 mins walk. Very comfy bed and living areas - best part is the magnificent view over Sandy Bay, especially if you happen to get up early around sunrise on a calm day. The apartment and area is extremely quiet too.

An extremely friendly host with very clear, polite, proactive and easy communication throughout the process (before and during our stay). The unit is well located, a short drive to the city, salamanca market, great restaurants etc while maintaining peaceful surroundings. Once you're in, you'll notice some little thoughtful touches throughout the house which made the experience all that much nicer. Easy parking options at the house itself or on the street. It was a lovely stay overall! The only slight comment (and I'm nitpicking) is that if you're in the downstairs bedroom, you can sometimes hear the footsteps above, but that didn't really hinder our experience at all.

Felicity was amazing right from the get go! Her wee apartment (wee as in term if endearment 🥰) was just perfect for us ! Everything was amazing and would def stay there again! Can't recommend highly enough!!

Natalie’s unit was beautiful! So well appointed and had all the little extras like laundry detergent, fresh milk in the fridge and the pantry essentials if you felt like cooking. The garden and surroundings are SO BEAUTIFUL and the bed was super comfortable, it has wheels though so just be careful if leaning on it. We loved the location! Close to everything and felt like a beautiful home away from home ☺️ definitely recommend.

This was a great very clean apartment near everything and it had almost everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome. We were able to make meals in the kitchen. The cons: No breakfast, portable fan, laundry detergent, all the white towels were stained but clean and no communications from our host Amanda during our 3 nights stay. The apartment is up for sale. We did enjoy our stay and everything was very clean, but wanted to give advice to the next guests.

lovely cosy studio with fabulous views of the Harbour. There is a 3km circular walk at the back of the house and all amenities are close by. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. Fridge a bit small but the shower and bidet toilet a great source of joy. Jill has great tips and interacts as required. her dogs are very friendly

Angela’s holiday home is exactly that a home away from home . The feeling of simple shack/ holiday life but with attention to every detail is evident from the opening of the door . As the classical music played the sense of relaxation begins …… The extensive open plan kitchen , living , dining extends out to wonderful outdoor living deck space with wonderful vista amongst the agapanthas and yachts bobbing in the bay below … The beach is right in front of the shack a few mins walk with crystal clear water from Fredrick Henry Bay. Guests have an enormous garden and bbq Patio area soaking with summer sun and the added company of a Terra Cotta Warrior standing amongst the foliage . Each bedroom has superb linens / soft pillows /incredibly comfortable beds & rugs and electric blankets for those cooler Southern coastal nights . The art work amongst the whole of the house brings a feel of nostalgia- great water pressure beautiful books. Highlight separate retreat games reading room 10/10

This was our second stay at Ann's place, and we're so glad we chose to come back. Ann's place is so beautifully located in the peaceful Denne's Point, just a minute walk to the beach. It is so easy to see the love Ann has put into this home - it is so tastefully decorated and feels just like home. There are so many little surprises awaiting; an outdoor shower, cosy linens and mosquito nets, beautiful soft couches and the stunning deck outlook. I would encourage everyone to book their stay at Ann's!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The view was absolutely stunning, and we loved how close and walkable the beach was—it made for the perfect getaway. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. It was quite hot on our first night, and we foolishly didn’t turn on the aircon—but once we did, it quickly cooled down the place. We’d definitely recommend using it when it’s warm! Overall, a wonderful stay, and we’d love to return.

The property is stunning, modern and spacious with fabulous views with spectacular access to the beach. A lovely welcome card on arrival, James was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay and beyond. James went out of his way to send some items that we forgot to pack so thank you for taking the time to do that for us. We’ve enjoyed your home.

We loved our few days at Lucy’s! We were lucky to score some hot weather which had us swimming at beautiful Carlton beach (between the flags) each day! It was so nice coming home to Lucy’s and relaxing in the comfort of the air con and ceiling fans, after beautiful hot showers. Our kids just loved the space, the house feels very spacious and cosy at the same time! Many spots to retreat to, read, movie, play and a very decent yard space too! The kitchen was amazing to prepare meals in! Bonus was the breville coffee machine. We would so love to come back and stay longer next time! Such a great base to many hotspots!

We loved the ease of self check-in and more importantly for us the proximity to the beach! It was a casual walk only a block away (2minutes?) and the views were amazing! Especially the sunrises. Extremely clean and well maintained. Would stay here again!

Coralie and Costa are great hosts - the apartment was comfy and incredibly well stocked with food and goodies. They are very attuned to what visitors want (games and library too) and it was a pleasure to stay. Fabulous views too.

Such a lovely quiet and comfortable apartment close to cafes, restaurants and shops and a five minute drive to the Salamanca markets and the waterfront. The parking bay outside the front door was so convenient and being on the ground floor made it very easy to get luggage inside. James is a very considerate host and we would always aim to stay here if back in Hobart, it was perfect for us.

Our stay at Brain’s place was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space to chill out and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker really made it. Thank you Brian!

Our stay was exactly as we thought it would be - but better. The accommodation was fresh and clean and welcoming. The beds were the most comfortable we have very slept in! We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruit and breakfast supplies! The unit was so close to the amazing beach and local eateries yet we felt we were much further away as it was so quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone!

The landlord is a very warm and kind person, and both my boyfriend and I really like them! The house is also very new, making it a comfortable place to stay. Plus, it’s close to the beach, making it a great choice for accommodation in Tasmania!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Brian’s place! The place had everything you could need, we especially enjoyed the multiple fruit trees around the property. The area was clean and tidy. The bed was a little creaky but was very warm during the cold taste nights. We would happily stay again as the location was awesome 😄

Wonderful retro apartment with all that you need. Benji was super helpful with everything including recommendations for restaurant and coffee places. The highlight was the balcony with the most splendid view on the beach and wonderful sunrises. All in all a great experience!
