Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Normal

This was my third time staying at Lacey's home, which is located in a lovely residential neighborhood within walking distance of the Constitution Trail and IWU. Despite a busy weekend, the highlight of my trip was cooking dinner for my son and his roommate in the open and airy kitchen. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

This place is a super nice and has cool features. Updates in the right places that make it very comfy and felt right at home. I highly recommend if you’re in the area. Very clear instructions and responsive host. We will surely stay again next year.

This house is such a cute find. Old homes have tons of character and charm and this one definitely fits that bill. It’s in a great location to restaurants and cute shopping downtown. Carly was very accommodating and responsive to any questions or concerns. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in the area!

Really cool older home that’s been updated and well maintained. Lots of character. Very clean. Would definitely recommend. Plenty of space with two bedrooms, a nice sized kitchen, a large dining room, and a comfortable living room. Close to several restaurants.

Perfect for 4 weary travelers who are okay with sharing one bathroom

This Airbnb is very cozy, spectacularly clean and decorated so nicely! The beds are super comfortable, the shower pressure is perfect and the owners have put a lot of thought and care into this home. I will say, as others have noted that the house is on a corner at a stoplight where there is quite a bit of traffic so road noise is noticeable but not bothersome. There is a sound machine available if that bothers you. We used this Airbnb as a cozy spot for a visit to ISU, and it was convenient to everything. 10/10, great hosts and cozy Airbnb!

This place was awesome!! perfect for a couple or a single person, and very comfortable. -Not to many stairs. -There are only 4 stairs to the washer and dryer! -Easy check-in, fast response, and very friendly host! -THE BED IS AMAZING!! SUPER COMFORTABLE!! -It felt cold at first, but it does get very warm and cozy in there. -Coffee, shampoo, conditioner, garbage bags, hand soap, dishsoap, are all provided. -Lots of cooking utensils! Would definitely stay again if and when available!!

Returned home for family funeral and was delighted to find an air bnb in Roanoke. Allowed me to “be home” during a difficult time rather than travel back and forth to another town. Mary Beth accommodated me for an earlier check-in so we could meet with the funeral director and set up for the visitation. She responded quickly to my questions and was always helpful. The Owl’s Nest is a delightful place to stay. Very comfortable, clean, and cheerful atmosphere. Beautiful setup. And although we were there during a deep freeze outside, the character of the apartment, warmed our hearts. The sitting area was perfect for the quiet conversations and sharing we needed at that time. Although we stayed for a short time and didn’t use the kitchen (except the refrigerator) or the laundry facilities, if I returned for longer stays, I could see it being perfect.

Excellent few nights. Clean, perfect location, great host. The studio was exactly as advertised, comfortable bed, and no clutter. Access was easy with a private entrance. The stairs were quite, and I was out late a few nights so coming in late I was confident I was not bothering the neighbors. The location is perfect less than a mile there were great coffee houses in the morning, restaurants for dining and bars for night life. Next time I am in town I hope this facility is available. All this is wrapped with a great proactive host that communicated and anticipated all my needs.

John was super responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We arrived late and he even opened the arcades next door after hours so that we could go in and play! We had an amazing stay and my husband is already talking about returning.
