We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Espen was very proactive and prepared the house very nicely for us. The house is very large and everything is really bright and spacious. We felt comfortable right away and were also very impressed with how chic everything is. Everything is as described in the pictures and it could have accommodated many more people than just the two of us. Thank you for the great accommodation, we will be happy to come back again!

We feel so lucky to have found this beautiful farmhouse in our visit the Hafslo/Gaupne area! The house provides spectacular views of the fjord, with the epic Feigumfossen waterfall off in the distance, which makes the whole scene feel magical. We were blessed by warm and sunny weather, which certainly enhanced the experience. The house itself is modern and updated, with large photos of local scenes hung throughout the house. A host-provided guidebook has commentary on each photo, with recommendations on how to visit those places! We did the 6 mile easy-to moderate Austersdalbreen glacier hike, which I highly recommend! What made this location particularly special is that the area has the original homestead/farm of my Norwegian ancestry. When I mentioned this to Hege ahead of time, she took the extra time to research our family heritage and then she and her husband Oystein took us to the church and farm used by my family. It was so special and appreciated! Tusen takk!!

Great cabin, in a beautiful location. There were many hiking opportunities nearby. Cheerful host. Recommended😊

Communication with Kenneth was very simple and quick. Self check-in at the apartment with detailed instructions to easily find the accommodation. Free parking space in front of the accommodation. The apartment is comfortable, as described and in the immediate vicinity of a supermarket which is convenient. Good location to discover Balestrand and the Sognefjord, I recommend it.

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The host truly thought of everything to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. There were plenty of towels provided, a lovely welcome basket to greet us, and thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. The outdoor gas fireplace was a perfect spot to relax in the evenings, and the jacuzzi was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a great way to unwind. We were especially impressed by the charging station for our electric car, which was incredibly convenient. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we are very satisfied. Highly recommend!

Wonderful and well run Airbnb. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything you needed, from a full washer/dryer to nice towels and comfortable bedding, to information about the area. Very clean. Appreciated the overview from the host. One of the best we’ve stayed in!

Wow! This place is truly special, we felt very lucky that Are Gunnar and the family had shared this place with the rest of the world. It was rainy when we were here (early June) but still we had a magical time. Canoeing, walking and enjoying the beautiful nature. This is a special place to be rain or shine. The cabin had everything you need and felt very cosy, canoe and fishing rod supplied as extra luxury :) It’s a little bit of a walk in but it’s a beautiful walk and easy path- just bring wet proof shoes if you don’t like getting too wet walking. I hope we can come back one day - really it is so special and isolated in nature and beauty. Have fun!!

Quiet location on the lake and yet quickly in the next town for shopping or restaurant visits. We spent 2 nights there and got along well without a shower. The living room with the wood stove is especially cozy!

Amazing place for a relaxing time !

It was the most amazing part of our trip. A beautiful well-furnished and equipped house, reflecting a great taste. The outdoor area was so comfortable and amazing with shaded parts where we had lovely evening by the fireplace. The view was spectacular, breathtaking. We were sad the Jacuzzi was not available for use. Another thing one of the bedrooms had no curtains to the side windows that affected our privacy. We definitely would love to come back.

A wonderful stay with fantastic views. A place where you will really come to rest. We rented the boat to sail around the fjord and it was really great! Highly recommended!

We had fabulous time here. Fantastic scenery, very peaceful, lots of activities to do (Loen Skylift, Glaceir hike, Lake lovatnet). And the house is just amazing and made our stay very special and memorable.

One of the best Airbnb’s my family and I have ever stayed at. Hot tub and sauna were perfect, Oddvar & Yngvil have a beautiful and well cared for cabin perfect for families. Totally recommend!
