What an amazing stay! This cozy guest house was absolutely perfect for our time in the Lake District. We particularly appreciated the quiet surroundings and the lovely details that included a very generous and tasty welcome basket. The suite was well appointed with beautiful linens, a hot shower and a very comfortable bed. Alister was very quick to respond to our messages and all of his recommendations were spot on. We especially loved the Buttermere and Ullswater hikes. The only thing we would have changed was to have booked a longer stay. Thanks, Ali, for a fabulous experience!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was massive! Such a big space it felt better in person. The house was extremely clean with a modern kitchen, a cosy living room and a massive bed it was everything we wanted and more. The host were extremely helpful and friendly, it was lovely and quiet and I felt super safe staying there. It’s in a great location and I will definitely be returning!

Lovely house, was great for a few nights away and convenient location

We’ve just got back from a lovely weekend here. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. There was a welcome book with lots of suggestions of things to do and recommendations of places to go. The area was quiet and peaceful. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again. Thanks so much.
