Piwakawaka cottage is set amongst a beautiful property with expansive lawns, beautiful gardens and mature trees. We had a relaxing afternoon and evening after a big day driving, and our toddler enjoyed the running around on the lawn and playing on the swing. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need including comfortable beds, ensuite and kitchenette. Nicky is a super friendly and accommodating host, thank you Nicky!

Cozy stay at Pamela’s sleep out! Perfect for my few days through Nelson. I really appreciated the bits and bobs for breakfast. Pamela is a great host.

We stayed in Chalet 3 at Cherie and Rodney’s place and are so happy with our choice. It was very peaceful and private sitting on our own deck overlooking the orchards and towards the sea. The chalet was very homely, spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The friendly sheep visited us often in the paddock straight off the deck. Cherie and Rodney’s place also had laundry facilities and a barbecue to share with the other two chalets. Parking was ample and easy to use. Our hosts were quick to respond to texts and very friendly when we needed help. This property is in a great location with easy access to Abel Tasman NP and the lovely towns on the coast. We particularly enjoyed the short walk to the Riwaka Resurgence. We hadn’t heard of this gem before but it was highly recommended by Cherie and Rodney. Don’t miss it! We highly recommend staying at Cherie and Rodney’s. If it’s available, grab it!

Lovely place to stay with a friendly host. Not too far from Nelson and surrounding attractions but feels amazingly private and peaceful - and we loved being able to say hello to the cows! Pool was a great facility for hot summer afternoons and the cottage had everything we needed and nice spacious rooms.

It was a wonderful stay at Robert's. The cabin was immaculately clean. Robert was on site to meet us and was extremely friendly and welcoming. The property itself was spacious enough for us, without being too big. Everything was well stocked too, some milk in the fridge a nice touch. Had two gorgeous dogs that lived there and wander the grounds, so soft and were excellent with our two boys. We extended our stay as we were very happy with location and property. Would happily stay again.

our stay at Heather s was fantastic it was what we wanted for our week in Richmond everything was beautiful and everything was supplied .Visiting family and friends location was perfect we did enjoy our time in Richmond.

Beautiful and spotless accommodation - lovely outlook. Had everything we needed and everything was furnished with high end fittings and furnishings. Lovely linen and bedding. Well stocked kitchen. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and hopefully will come again when the weather is better 😊

The surroundings are exceptionally picturesque. By opening the window, you can glimpse expansive green spaces and sparkling water surfaces through clearings in the woods, while evenings offer prime sunset viewing spots. Nicole and Andrew were wonderfully hospitable hosts. Their yard is home to ducks, hens, and sheep, along with various fruit trees that provided fresh daily harvests. Waking each morning to dawn light, birdsong, and duck quacks was pure bliss. The breakfasts prepared by Nicole were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend purchasing ingredients from the town supermarket to cook meals in the cozy kitchen for leisurely enjoyment. Overall, this was an utterly delightful experience.

Lj is a wonderful host. We were well looked after but still had privacy. Excellent breakfast with great coffee. Really lovely accomodation that was thoughtfully and stylishly appointed, but practical with a warm and inviting feel. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much. Very highly recommended.

Rod and Karina were the perfect hosts and they made us feel most welcome. The apartment was so clean and had excellent amenities. It’s the perfect spot to explore both Abel Tasman and Moteuka itself. I would highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay despite the wet weather. Plenty of space for us to be comfortable, including a sheltered outdoor area. Daphna was very accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect for us to be able to walk to parks, shops and to visit family in Richmond. We will definitely stay again next time we are visiting.

Mein Freund und ich hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung in der Anzeige. Der Zugang zum See war wirklich traumhaft. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Ruby Bay beach house! We had the bad luck of visiting the area during 3 days of autumn rainstorm, but Lynette & Den’s place turned out to be the perfect refuge. If anything, the space was larger than the photos made it seem and the amenities were nicer. The kitchen was well-equipped, the couch and bed were comfortable, the in-unit laundry was great. Lynette and Den were friendly and gave us helpful recommendations of things to do in the rain. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer!

A clean, well-appointed base camp for exploring the region. About equidistant from the mail boat ride out of Havelock and the southern access to Abel Tasman National Park. Nelson itself was a revelation of good restaurants, an interesting regional museum, and a lovely beach just down the hill from the Airbnb. Ales and Michelle were stellar hosts, responsive and friendly. The house was just right for two, with an efficient kitchen set-up, great amenities and a fabulous view of the beach, the bay, and the mountains beyond. Would definitely stay there again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Pear Tree on Bronte for 5 nights. It became our home away from home after a very busy couple of weeks exploring the South Island. We did lots of day trips from the cottage, and it was so lovely to have a beautiful place to come home to each afternoon. It has a very comfy bed, and an amazing shower (with great hair products! ) Very generous provisions provided by Lynn. And the deck… Comfortable furnishings, roll down blinds, and an ever-changing view of the beautiful estuary. Plentiful birdlife, a beautiful garden, and amazing star gazing made this place so special. Thanks Lynn!

Chinh & Tri were generous enough to let my 17yr grandson stay at their place by himself and even offered to drive him around if needed. He had a very pleasant 3 nights there, apparently the bed is very comfortable and everything is as described. Many thanks Chinh & Tri!

This was not my first stay so I knew it was exactly what I needed. As expected, it was comfortable, warm, safe and conveniently located with friendly but not intrusive hosts. Also a bonus is their dog who is very sweet and also friendly!

I had an amazing stay at Rivington Cottage. Sally Anne and Ian were superb hosts - they were friendly, responsive, and always available to answer questions or resolve issues. The cottage had everything I needed, including fast internet that enabled me to do work while I was there. The cottage was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine outside, listening to the birds and looking out at the picturesque view. I also really enjoyed my walks around the large property, including through the feijoa orchards. It was an easy drive to and from town but still felt like a countryside retreat. I can't recommend Rivington highly enough!
