Vacation rentals in Kaikōura

Christine was an incredible host and went above and beyond what I've ever experienced or expect when I stay in an Airbnb unit. When she learned I'd be coming to town without a vehicle, she very generously offered to pick me up from the bus stop. She was very communicative and available throughout my stay for any issues that arose. When there was low pressure in the shower, she immediately had it looked at and fixed. While not modern, I found the space to be clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for my stay. I loved the location--literally at the beach! And even without a car, I managed fine--a 20 to 25 minute walk into town, 40 minute walk to the grocery store (only did that once), and 25 to 30 minutes to the Peninsula Walkway and seal hangout spot. I loved Kaikoura and hope to return. If I do, I'll for sure try to stay at the Dolphin Cottage. :)

Amazing experience that we will never forget! We highly recommend if you have the chance to stay here, with its stunning views and clean and modern facilities…we were extremely happy with our decision to stay here :)

This is a special property- near the foot of the mountain, in the middle of large fields, with cows occasionally looking at the property and rabbits hopping around. And the night stars- splendid amidst the dark skies. There was a lot of space for everyone to move around, inside and outside of the house. Town is just a convenient short drive away. Wayne is also helpful and responsive. He is a very experience host and it was a delight to be taken care by him in his property.

It was lovely to stay in a fully functioning home having spent a lot of weeks in hotels, the views from the property are gorgeous and the house was more than big enough for the pair of us but it was lovely having time to focus on each other without the distraction of a TV and be able to cook meals

Lovely cottage in a beautiful garden setting. suited our 2 night stay whilst we visited the Hurunui District garden festival. Very comfortable bed, and a great shower.

Great place, immaculate, great location on the beach with walking track to town. James was very helpful when we had a small problem -- quick to communicate. All good.

Was the perfect spot to walk to restaurants and the beach!! Would absolutely stay here again

Christine's place is a bargain for such a stunning place with seafront views. Had everything we needed, comfy beds, powerful shower, fully equipped kitchen. We're at the end of our trip in NZ and this was by far our favourite Airbnb. Perfection.
