Lovely Gillian and her daughter Emma welcomed me and my partner on arrival and made our check in easy. Lovely room with lots of space in a beautiful area. Eggs, bread and milk left for us aswell.

I have just spent several weeks at Templars Barn & have loved every minute. From start to finish Julie has been an exemplary host & was always quick to respond to any enquiries I had….also her warm & friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. The barn itself is incredibly well appointed & feels very luxurious……the rain shower is amazing. The location is ideal, with shops & pubs literally i On your doorstep, but as the barn is at the back of a private courtyard, it’s really peaceful. I honestly couldn’t recommend Templars Barn highly enough and I’m returning again in the new year

Absolutely brilliant. Lucy is a great host and the cottage is amazing, warm, modern, clean, would recommend to anyone and have found my future base for any holidays in the Lake District or north of England

Stayed here for the Christmas period hosts were very helpful communicated well upon arriving throughout and on leaving The cottage was beautiful near all local amenities but still isolated quiet and in a peaceful pretty village There is so much to explore on the doorstep and within 30minutes driving distance we visited Yorkshire dales, castle borough and the Lake District Even the garden has its own wildlife we saw the Red squirrel & pheasants happily feed in the garden it was beautiful to watch Would definitely recommend this property to anyone & am thankful to the hosts for their lovely hospitality 💕
