Cabin vacation rentals in Mount Baker

My husband, our dogs, and I had the most relaxing long weekend at this cozy cabin in the woods! Jami and Ryan have thought of everything to make guests feel relaxed and at home. The family room and beds are very comfortable, the deck and surroundings are beautiful, and the master bath feels like a spa! The neighborhood is a lovely place to walk the dogs and the area has some nice restaurants and hikes we got to enjoy. The ONLY other thing that would have made this place more perfect (for our needs) would be some sort of fenced-in area for dogs. We knew this going into the weekend so it wasn't a surprise. Overall this was a fabulous anniversary weekend and we can't wait to return!

The place was exactly as described. Because the hosts regularly use the place for themselves, there was a lot of additional comforts that made it very livable. For example, the kitchen is very well stocked, the knives are sharp, there are lots of towels to use, and the backyard is a great extension of the living space. The location is central and private and everything is simple and easy to use (fireplaces, BBQ, hot tub, tv, music etc). Beds are comfortable enough and the outdoor space is great! There is a big outdoor dining table, outdoor lounge chairs for the firepit, and an awesome little covered outdoor living room with an additional firepit and TV. The shower and bathroom is really nice too! The communication with the hosts was not the most welcoming. They were concerned about the purpose of our trip and even went as far as to say that it is "not normal" for a group of 7 long-term friends to stay at Cultus lake. Hopefully they can show guests more trust in the future.

We fell in love with Guemes Island! We could not be more grateful to stay in such a wonderful and peaceful spot. We hope to visit The Woodpecker many more times over the years! Our 18 month old son had the time of his life playing on the beaches and coming home to such an inviting atmosphere. 1000 out of 10. Would recommend to any and all !

Gorgeous place - even nicer than the photos! Loved the hot tub and how peaceful and verdant it was on the back deck. Comfy beds too. We went for a mountain biking trip and the trails were close by. A great place for a true getaway! A surprisingly high-end convenient store is a quick drive away. Only downside is that the space doesn't have good sound insulation. My husband and I were hoping to spend one day working remotely, but it was hard for two of us to be in Zoom calls simultaneously. Internet was great, but very little sound insulation between rooms so it was hard to do the calls and not be disturbed by the other person. Just good to know if that's how you're hoping to use the space.

This cabin is small, but very clean, modern and nice. It should be clear that we only found two bedrooms plus the loft, and a total of 3 beds (one in each of those spaces). Thanks Miquel for a great stay!

This place was fantastic. The house was adorable and the yard was breathtaking. The river was a quick stroll away and Carol was so kind, friendly, and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

The home was clean, and the kitchen very well stocked if you want to actually COOK. The water pressure was really amazing, and faucets provided hot water really quickly. I didn't spend a lot of time outside as it was rainy, but a young doe wandered into the yard within 10 minutes of my arrival, and a couple of older ones visited the next day. Soft bed linens, and a variety of pillows to suit various needs. The only thing I'll call out for other travelers - I only saw two towels in the bathroom, so if you travel as a couple and need a separate hair towel, you might want to bring an extra. Definitely a place I'd love to visit again when it's a bit warmer and I can see the stars instead of cloud cover, and make better use of the trail access nearby.

The resort was really pretty, hosts were very responsive and really nice, the beds are very comfy, the kitchen well equiped. I really liked the camp fire and that there was a sauna. The place to get food is a bit far so bringing something to cook is a good idea. A very nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay which offered a relaxing and recharging atmosphere. The amenities were great. Everything was well maintained and clean. There were books, and games for entertainment along with a nice hot tub.

What a lovely, peaceful stay! We were looking to get away from the city for the weekend to enjoy silence, water, and family. This was the perfect retreat and had sweet touches like games, dog supplies, and kids books! Highly recommend!

Fabulous vintage cabin for the real Mt Baker experience. This cabin is well loved, perfectly preserved, and so cozy for apres ski. We had everything we needed for an awesome stay and would absolutely recommend to any ski bums. I’m sure it’s amazing in the summer months too! Thanks for having us.

A great stay in a great place. Jess was very responsive during my 2 night stay. For a place that allows dogs, the place was very very clean. And all the essentials for your stay. Felt like home. And werther’s caramels to boot !!!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this cabin! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The hot tub was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a relaxing and cozy getaway. The location was peaceful, with birds singing in the morning, and it was the perfect base for exploring the area. Mt. Baker was just a 30-minute drive away, and we were also a short drive from Chair 9 Bar and Restaurant. We suspect there may be a way to walk there without going through the entire neighborhood, but we didn’t test it out. Overall, we were really impressed with the cabin and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was such a beautiful cabin by the river! We had a big group and everyone had a place to sleep and we had a lot of space. This house has ALL of the kitchen amenities and was in such a beautiful neighborhood.

This was a cozy cabin just right for a group of three. The location is accessible to Mt. Baker and lots of scenic drives. We were outdoors for the most part but the stay was enjoyable and had all the listed amenities. Would be an ideal place for someone wanting to disconnect and spend some quiet time.

We truly enjoyed our cabin stay. We live local and we are always trying to find fun, quiet, and cute places. We enjoyed the DvD collection and the layout of the cabin. The queen bed was very comfortable and the pillows were comfortable. We would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Oh and they had a nice little variety or snacks and candy. Just remember there is no stove or oven but the microwave and toaster oven met all our needs.

My husband and I and our dogs had a lovely stay on Guemes Island! The cabin was just what we needed: peace and quiet and a great setting for napping and book reading. If you bring dogs, be sure to visit nearby Dog Woods aka Dog Heaven.

This cabin is a magical gem. The bed is the MOST comfortable Airbnb bed I’ve slept in my 15+ yrs of renting on this site. The hike down to the creek is so lovely we did it four times. The little sauna is the coolest looking one we’ve ever used. Cat and Chau were like a concierge at a 5 star hotel with their response times, assistance, and enthusiasm for us having a great time. We will carry our memories of our time with us forever.

This was my second stay and I plan to book Ken's cabin again. The peaceful surroundings, the calming sound of the river, the gorgeous gardens on the property and the many birds visiting make for a gardener's delight! Ken is super friendly and very quick to respond. He provides excellent and clear instructions and his home has everything you could possibly need while on vacay. His cabin is so cozy and so inviting that it feels like coming home upon arrival. The kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our time around the fire pit as we took in the river views and all the birds that came to visit during our stay. I really love this spot!

Sharon's home was exactly as described! It was very cozy and relaxing, and there was plenty of room for us three couples to get together, but also room to be apart when needed. :) Although only four of us could use the hot tub at the same time, we found that was the perfect number during this trip. Having the full size washer and dryer was fantastic! The kitchen was particularly well stocked with equipment! All three couples enjoy cooking and we always found what we needed, regardless what dish we were preparing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was perfectly located for a day trip to Mt. Baker and less than 10 minutes from Silver Lake Park. The drive was beautiful and the cabin was just as pictured.
