We experienced a delightful getaway in country Victoria at Saje Cottage. This b’n’b provided a quiet, peaceful sanctuary, with the echoing sounds of native bird life and the surprise sighting of native fauna nearby. Located within minutes from local eateries and a 7 minute car ride from the well equipped township of Castlemaine. This area is well worth a visit. Laurelle provided not only a clean cottage, but exquisite touches including Churchill crockery, lace curtains and divine, high quality “Lazybones” bedding. All creature comforts were provided, including a well stocked bathroom cabinet, in case items are forgotten, and delicious provisions for a substantial breakfast to start the day. An assortment of hot beverages were included with fresh milk. Laurelle was highly communicative and respectful of our privacy and we would highly recommend a visit. Be warned, you will spend up in the local gift shops, markets, specialty cheese stores, bakeries and chocolate shops.

The cottage was the nicest AirBnb we have stayed in. Decor was beautiful and everything was squeaky clean. Our hosts also left us everything we could have needed in the full kitchen plus a couple of really lovely surprises. There are plenty of blankets and good heating for the cooler months, although the weekend we stayed was perfect autumn weather. The garden is stunning and peaceful, with the cottage having a lovely baclony to sit out and enjoy the serenity. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also the table in the picture is now larger and seats three comfortably.

Our second time staying at The Studio. spacious and comfortable. feels like home. The little deck is perfect to soak up the sunshine and listen to the birds. great location to access Castlemaine.

This Airbnb was absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a beautifully maintained garden, bursting with vibrant florals and visited by native wildlife, creating the most serene atmosphere. Roberta’s warm welcome made us feel instantly at home. The property itself was immaculate, with thoughtful décor touches that added charm to every corner. It was an incredibly peaceful retreat, yet just a short stroll from Castlemaine’s main town, making it the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. We truly loved our stay and can’t wait to return!
