Mike and Sherry were very kind and hospitable! Sherry gave us plenty local recommendations and was very easy to communicate with. They also had the kitchen stocked with a few breakfast basics and gave me and my friends some fresh milk to try from their goats! Overall it was an excellent experience.

Thank you for sharing your place with us, Rosalyn. We truly enjoyed our stay! We booked this place last minute and were super grateful to be accommodated! For future travelers, reminder that you are renting a hogan (which Rosalyn gave an amazing explanation of its significance in Navajo culture) on a property on reservation land and do your research accordingly. Location: less than 10 minutes away from the entrance for the 17mile drive in the monument valley/restaurant. Follow her directions and is easier to arrive while there is daylight. Amenities: the port a potty provided was clean complete with sanitizers and whatnot. Bring a flashlight though! Food: in the morning we were given a basket of fruit and fry bread that we ate with honey and cinnamon. Eating this with the view of the monument valley was incredible. Animals: this is a great stay for animal lovers!!! I would love to come here again when she has her kitchen open when the weather is warmer.

This place was beautiful and comfortable. The sunset views were lovely, and the surrounding area is full of astonishing nature to explore. Malia was extremely responsive and communicative. The home was well-equipped with everything you need, and I especially appreciated the touches that made it extra enjoyable including live plants, extra blankets and pillows, a guest book, a binder of resources, tea, and coffee.

Beautiful place! Loved the well stocked kitchen- even had 2 pizza pans, which we needed for our pizza dinner. Good beds and amazing master bathroom with wonderful 2 head shower. Great communication with host. My kids and I had wonderful time. Definitely would stay here again.

We had to adjust our vacation itinerary from Page AZ last minute due to a snow storm shutting down all routes from Phoenix to Page. we made our reservation evening of our stay. Barbara was extremely responsive on the phone as we drove through the mountains east of Phoenix in and out of cell service as we were trying to coordinate a place to stay. Our calls got disconnected numerous times but she was patient and answered each time I called back after getting service back. Her house was fully stocked with not only the necessities, but little extras that you don't typically see at any air bnb. Her home is stocked as though it was her own vacation home. would recommend to anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Utah/Arizona

This historic home in Blanding is great. The bed was comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring all points beyond Blanding. The home is decorated with historic and family items that are quite interesting. We would go back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Turquoise Hogan. It was a perfect size for us, two couples travelling together on a road trip. The overall experience had the feel of camping, being out in the fresh air with a fire, looking up at the starry sky. The view was outstanding. We also loved that the homestead had many farm animals housed nearby that we could walk over to and see. Would definitely recommend .

10/10 amazing place. Our kids loved being there, exploring and playing on the “playground” right outside the house. Also in a prime location to see multiple sites. Took us an hour to get to Moab, 1.5 hours to Monument Valley, Canyonlands close by. We were able to do everything we wanted and didn’t have to travel very far in any direction. On top of the great home, Brett was a great host. He was so responsive and answered any questions we had as well as sent detailed directions ahead of time. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great spot, right next to the entrance of Monument Valley. Big space, super nice table with benches to eat, covered by a pergola. The host was available and helpful on arrival. Stunning views from the camp! I definitely recommend to stay here!
