Cabin vacation rentals in Monte Vista

Celina’s place was exactly as described! We were here for a girls trip with my 3-year old daughter as well, and it felt like a very safe space for a toddler to roam around and also enjoy a girls trip. We also cooked all our meals during our stay and there was everything you needed for cooking and baking. The hot tub was amazing! I would love to come again!

We loved our stay at river bend, it’s close to wolf creek and few restaurants, you can get groceries a few miles away. Loved it, will come back for more adventures

Beautifully designed & comfortable space nestled amongst the pine & aspens. The outside hot tub area & real wood burning fireplace (you must provide your own wood) was our favorite! Parking up against the cabin (small incline, must back out) or parking out/in the roadside garage great options. Comfortable & clean bedrooms downstairs; upstairs doesn't have a bed; we appreciated the roll away provided!Within 15 miles from the town of Pagosa & The Hot Springs.

Absolutely beautiful spot to stay at! We had an amazing weekend, definitely what we needed. I especially loved going through the cd collection and playing some good jams

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Such a beautiful location and so many amenities! Check-in was easy and Tristan was very great! We would highly recommend this place. The backyard view and covered deck was on point! So beautiful and everything fully stocked, ready for us. We enjoyed the welcome basket of snacks and the card was such a special touch.

Beyond fantastic! This place is a gem. It hurts to write a great review because I wish I could keep it a secret. Everything about this place screams a great time away from mundane life and recharging in nature. If you like to fly fish, there are monsters to be had in the river. The ranch dogs, Povi and RuRu kept my two little sons entertained and Glenn was more than a gracious host. This isn’t some minute by minute planned out ranch experience where you over pay for a catered trip that leaves you unfulfilled. This is a place where you can get far away from life and make time stop for yourself. It’s not the Ritz, it is freedom to experience ranch life with PRIME fishing all around you! We really enjoyed our stay here in Crestone! We were celebrating a couple birthdays, and our family had a wonderful time relaxing in the mountains. The host left very clear instructions on how to work things in the house as well as how to leave them, and we found that extremely helpful. We hope to come back at some point in the future! Our stay at the Courthouse Cabin was nothing short of amazing. The place is even more beautiful than the photos suggest, with an authentic charm that transports you back to the 1800s. We were a large group of 12 adults and 4 kids, and the Robertson family could not have been more accommodating. They were incredibly flexible with our check-in time, which was a lifesaver since we were coming from 5 hours away and had a few changes in our itinerary. The entire experience reminded me of my grandparents' farm, especially waking up to the sounds of the animals and the fresh breeze. The kids had a blast, even though not all participated in the horse riding. The hosts made sure they could still interact with the horses and even took some great photos. It was a highlight of the trip for them. The Robertson family went above and beyond, even mailing back a blanket that one of the kids left behind. He was over the moon to get it back. We highly recommend this beautiful, off-grid retreat.

Beautiful location and the place was great! The house was clean, organized, and had several amenities. The bed is VERY firm, so consider that. We loved the open-air, covered balcony on the bedroom. Hot water runs out quickly, so shower with purpose lol. All in all, great place, great location, great host! Highly recommend if you're spending a few days in the area!!

Absolutely lovely cabin. I honestly want to buy it and I’m upset that I work in another town a few hours away. I will absolutely return for a longer stay next time.

This is such a comfortable cabin! Make sure you plan for 30 minutes to get to the cabin from town and another 30 to get back into town. You will feel like you are visiting at your friends house! It is so laid back and beautiful. The mosquitoes are definitely thick but get a Thermacell and that will help. Enjoy being out away from everything and unwind. This is certainly a location to unplug from work and enjoy the visit with your family. Thanks Erika for sharing your home and being so quick to respond to our requests!

I had a wonderful stay at Melissa’s Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Melissa was a great host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The location was convenient and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. South Fork is an amazing place, and the house was set up for a family fun-filled time.

Had a wonderful time staying with my family for a wedding in Westcliffe. The house is about a 15-minute drive from the town, which was of course expected, but hopefully helpful for others who read this!

Got this Airbnb for my husband and a few buddies of his to star gaze. It was perfect for what they needed! The only downside was the tap water smelled of sulphur. We do understand there is most likely well water so it’s not a complaint by any means just something to note. Overall this place did exactly what was advertised and they had such a wonderful time!

Again, Kyle's cabin was a great place to stay. I heartily recommend his place to guests. A hidden bonus if you like hiking. There is a trail across the highway that is moderate level climb and takes you through some beautiful scenery.

Everything I expected and more. So serene and beautiful. Had the best sleep of my life and wonderful memories to carry with me. James was a wonderful host. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get away from it all and just enjoy some you time.

Amazing host. Eric is a tremendous host and was super helpful and responsive. He has a great property and the beauty of the location is unmatched. The night sky is absolutely insane. Lots of hiking and fishing in the area. You will not be disappointed.

This was a great stay overall, perfect for a stopover in nature for me & my pup. The place is simple with stellar glamping amenities and very close to penitente canyon hiking & climbing. I arrived during daylight and was east to find with directions provided. Mick was very responsive when I had trouble with the heater. It’s a little finicky but also turns out I was looking in the wrong ‘view hole’ for the pilot initially. I brought sleeping bag & pillow, a you can’t sit up/stand in sleeping loft but it was comfy for sleeping. Nice that a couple chairs were provided too.
