What a wonderful home. This place was so warm and inviting, it felt like we were visiting family. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the view is spectacular. The host was thoughtful enough to provide nightlights in every room, and all the necessities of home. The host was very communicative throughout from the time we booked until checkout time. The house was clean and tidy, and had plenty of books and games and extra blankets. This is my first booking on Airbnb and it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this house and host.

We love Peggy’s place. The view is wonderful, and everything well apportioned. This is our second stay and would gladly visit again.

This was our second time staying here- and everything was great! We love the quiet setting, the private large yard with the stream down the hill. This home is perfect for a family or two couples as each bedroom on opposite ends of the house has a private bathroom. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, I love to cook and it has everything I need. We love that the location is close to both Smith Mountain Lake and the Peaks of Otter area of the Blue Ridge Parkway. So many options for a nature lover.

My husband and I had a spectacular time during our stay! The place was cozy and utterly peaceful. Along with the breathtaking view of the lake, as chefs we enjoyed the great kitchen lol. Katie is super responsive and even allowed us to come back and look for my husband’s wedding band. Thank God we found it. I cannot wait to come back. I think we found our SML vacation spot forever lol. 10/10 recommend to others.
