Evergreen House - 150metres from City Mall Nyali

YukiRating, 5 stars24 months ago
I stayed for a month in this place to work. The nicest thing about this place is the accessibility to the shopping mall and the supermarket (Carrefour & Naivas). You can buy what you want anytime by walking to those places. You can also go to Mombasa City or Beach easily if you ride a car or tuktuk. Sagar is a friendly and thoughtful host. He always took care of me, but he never interfered with my work and gave me private time and space. Although this was a business stay for me, I recommend this place as a holiday place.
A living area is presented with comfortable seating arrangements including a gray sofa and patterned chairs. A large flat-screen TV is positioned on a modern stand. Colorful curtains frame the space, while a soft area rug adds a touch of warmth underfoot.

I would highly recommend this property, it was clean and spacious and extremely comfortable! Jane is an extremely helpful and accommodating host as well... highly recommended.

Home stay in Mombasa Coast

EphanielleRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Joseph and his family were very welcoming. We really felt at home. The house was spacious and clean. His wife Ana cooked very tasty local food and made amazing mango juices. There was a running shower, with cold water, which is just fine in the heat of Mombasa. Their home is a bit out north of Mombasa, in a residential area. But Joseph was very kind to meet with us in the city centre for our arrival, and happy to help us go around and show us some places in his neighbourhood and in Mombasa centre. We even organised a trip to a nearby animal park with his wife and children! During these 4 days, we only took public transports, mostly small buses with loud Kenyan music. It was such a cool experience! I would highly recommend staying there if you are looking for an authentic and cheerful home stay, and a nice guide to discover Mombasa. Ahsante sana Joseph and Ana! Hope to be back one day!
A cozy living room is featured, furnished with dual patterned sofas positioned around a wooden coffee table. A television is mounted on a wall shelf adorned with framed pictures and decorative items. Curtains drape beside a window, allowing soft light to enter the space.

CarolAdero's home. WELCOME

MelRating, 5 stars28 months ago
**Location not as shown on Airbnb** HOWEVER, the location was actually (I think) better than Bamburi, although it depends what you like - Mtwapa has a lot more going on and is way less tourist-centred, and there is a beach in walking distance. On arrival, Carol was very helpful with directions. I took a cab from Mombasa airport for about $20. There is AC available however I preferred to the normal fan. The area has occasional power cuts and water pressure issues but there are ways around it ! They have several bathrooms so if one shower is coming out weakly you can try another. It was no issue. Regular change of linen. Relaxed atmosphere. Carol is a great cook and is available to show you round the area if you wish. As a solo traveller I took her up on the offer and had the most incredible time. It's a very interesting & fun part of the world. (I recommend a trip to Gedi Ruins for affordable information, sightseeing and playing with monkeys. Nearby Watamu is beautiful)
An open living area is presented, featuring large windows that allow ample natural light. A spacious sofa is situated to one side, while a wooden dining table and chairs occupy the center. Tasteful decor and greenery are visible outside the windows.

Beautiful gardens (that huge baobab tree 😍). Excellent breakfast. Great balconies and terrasse to see shadow and just hang out. When you want beach you just walk 10 min and rent a chair in a secure hotel on the beach. I highly recommend this place

Azhari Beach Suite - Diani Beach , Kenya

It’s hard to imagine, but these photos can’t do this property justice. It is truly beachfront, and is absolutely romantic and beautiful. If you have an issue with wildlife, especially pesky monkeys, or you aren’t comfortable in an outdoor environment, or you don’t want to have to walk down a path through the jungle to get to your romantic hideaway, nestled in the jungle and looking out over a pristine, white sand beach, then perhaps this is not for you, but for us…? It was absolutely magical. Nicole is an amazing host, and everyone who works there is kind and caring. The service was excellent —and do not miss the breakfast. This property far exceeded our expectations, and truly lived up to everything we had hoped for.
A giraffe wanders across a grassy landscape, characterized by sparse trees and gentle hills in the background. The animal's distinct spotted coat is visible, contrasting with the muted tones of the surroundings. The sky is cloudy, providing a soft light over the scene.

Zarafa House - Furaha Room - Deluxe Double room

LisaRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Staying with Ann was beautiful. Communication in advance with Ann went smoothly and also during the stay Ann was there to help and advise you, among other things, with tips on how to rent sun loungers on the beach or order a tuk tuks, as we did not have an African mobile phone number. The beach was within walking distance. Breakfast was a surprise every day except for a freshly squeezed juice and a big fruit cellar, as there was never the same thing. Drinking water was also available for free.
