Every step of the way - John was a a great communicator, making sure we had all the information we needed for our visit and the surrounding area. His cozy get away, is surrounded by beautiful nature, very private and yet only 10 minutes from the town of Annapolis Royal with all the amenities. The open fireplace, with lots of DRY wood and kindling was a bonus as the weather was stormy during our visit. John also checked in with us a few times to make sure we could get in and out of the driveway during the storm. 2 lovely balconies would be perfect in the summer for sitting out and looking into the trees - and which we were able to use this trip for barbequeing in the snow storm:) Very dog friendly as located off the main road and km of trails right out the door for walking off leash or snowshoeing. Would absolutely return at any time of year!

We stayed here for a girls trip and absolutely loved it! The place is beautiful, with fantastic views and plenty of space for a group weekend getaway. It had everything we needed—from comfortable beds to a well-stocked kitchen—and the whole vibe was just perfect. We’re already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend!

Rocky Mountain Lakehouse was an amazing mini get away with stunning surroundings. The property had everything one would ever need for fun activities and relaxation. The owners have thought of every detail. We loved our stay even though the weather didnt co-operate 100%. It was exactly what we needed and hope to return in the future. ❤️

My cousins and I had a great girls weekend! Such a beautiful spot especially being right on the water. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

This was my first girlfriend trip. We arrived at the house and the seven of us were Wowed! Everything you could need was there. Perfect kitchen for meals and the open concept was great for everyone being together. The beds were very comfortable. The whole house is spotless. The hot tub on the upper deck and the view from there is beautiful. Summerville beach was only a couple minutes away. Next trip will include our husbands. The house next door would be great if anyone would want a family reunion getaway.

We felt lucky to find a place so close to the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park!! The yard is huge and beautiful with a lovely walk down to the lake. Comfortable beds, nice hot water, easy to control the temperature in the house. Only negatives; upstairs bathroom only has a tub, kayaks need some work.

Best AirBNB we’ve stayed in to date (and we’ve stayed in quite a few). We felt right at home and were blown away by all the attention to detail! We will definitely be back, thank you!!!!

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

We felt like we had a break from the world. It was peaceful, very cozy, charming, and comfortable. We slept like babies, even though it was cooler weather and we had to put wood in the stove for heat (something we enjoyed immensely). Kitchen was reasonably equipped, so we just cooked our own meals. If you’re ok with a few bugs and spiders here and there (nothing dangerous), you’ll love it. We plan to be back.

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!

Our weekend at the lake was everything we could have hoped for. Morning coffees looking over the lake and enough lawn space to play games. Beds were clean and comfy. We will be coming back!

Ian and Sandi’s family cottage was perfect, like finding a piece of paradise. It was even more beautiful than the pictures and descriptions portrayed. Beds and linens were amazing, kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It’s spacious both inside and out. We can’t wait to go back.

Christian's place was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It was private, peaceful and had everything you need including condiments/spices and a fully equipped kitchen. The space was perfect for 4 of us as it was spacious and had a functional layout. Christian and his co-host were very responsive and laid back. Felt like we were staying at the family cottage; no worries and felt right at home. Thank you!

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

The cottage was cute and cozy and the outdoor space was beautiful. We had a relaxing weekend and really enjoyed the hot tub and view!

Jodie and Marc’s airbnb was above and beyond what we anticipated. Although the weather wasn’t what we were hoping for, we had such a great time. They had numerous amenities and necessities that were all provided. It was a great place to have a nice staycation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you have any fur friends, this is the place you want to go! Although we didn’t bring any puppers with us, we were pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness Jodie and Marc provide for your furry friends! The thought that has gone into this Airbnb is impeccable. Would definitely stay here again and again!

What a beautiful location and place. This was our second stay and we highly recommend it for anyone interested. So well equipped and the lake and sunsets are stunning. Could spend forever on that dock. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts….so responsive and helpful. Also great fishing and boating and the dog loved all the room to roam around on the acreage. We were very pleased with our stay at the cottage! It was exactly how it was described, and the lake/view was breathtaking! We stayed for 4 nights with our daughter and we were all sad to be leaving on our last day. The cottage was fully stocked with everything needed, including everything for outside (firewood, boats, beach towels, etc.). Jill was great to deal with - provided great instructions, information about the area, and responsive! Overall, great experience!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful, secluded cottage. We were looking for a peaceful retreat, and this place was exactly what we needed. The cottage, though small, is incredibly cozy, homey, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The serene setting in the middle of the woods offered the perfect escape to unwind and relax. We can’t wait to return to this gem of a cottage!
