Vacation rentals with beach access in Mirror Lake

Great location, place exactly as listed. VERY clean when we arrived. Ice in the driveway/walkway was a bit of an issue. Tom was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Meachele is a wonderful hostess and her place is cozy comfortable clean and exactly right for our family. We come up to Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The place and her hospitality are more than you can ask for and we are so grateful that she opens her Airbnb to us.

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

Beautiful loft, even nicer than the pictures! Josh was really great and very responsive and helped us out a lot when the power went out. Great stay overall!

This was my second stay at Four Pines and I can promise it won't be my last. Everything about the place—the beautiful setting, the quality of the accommodations, the thoughtful and complete attention to detail, the friendliness of the hosts—was perfection. I found myself getting cranky during my last two days and realized the reason was because I knew I had to leave soon. I have already locked-in my dates for a return stay next year. Superlatives don't tell the tale, however—you need to stay here and experience the magic for yourself! You will not regret it. Four Pines is simply the best, and you will always feel right at home. If I could give it five hundred stars—I would.

Second time staying here, great place. Plenty of space, kitchen and bathroom were stocked as described and check-in was easy.

Stayed for a few days with my family and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! The house was absolutely spotless, the host & family were very friendly and helpful. We loved it-definitely recommend! And will most certainly try to come back again! Thank you again you guys! We had a great time!!

Had a great mini getaway with my siblings here. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect it was still nice to enjoy the outside with a stunning view. Clean cozy home with space for the 6 of us, pet friendly. Host was quick to return my call when I was confused about getting in upon arrival. Will mention this space does have neighbors fairly close & limited parking, not a problem for us but could see where others may find that a bother. Hopefully we can return and stay agin in the future!

Sonja is amazing to deal with. Very proactive and accessible. The house was in great shape. Her bathrooms were great - up to date, great hot water/pressure. She leaves clear directions and sets up the home to look like an inn (waters and flowers in the bedrooms). Perfect location to walk to town and only 15 mins from Whiteface. Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

18 Lake vacation house is a true gem with a breathtakingly beautiful view that inspires the soul! Its million-dollar view from the balcony is awe-inspiring from sunrise to sunset, and even on cloudy days. The house is immaculately clean and well-organized, spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of six. Everything we needed during our stay was thoughtfully provided. The convenience of having access to the washing machine and dryer was a wonderful bonus. The neighborhood is a serene oasis, peaceful and quiet, with friendly neighbors who made us feel welcome. The hosts respond promptly to our texts and went above and beyond by notifying us when my husband forgot his jacket and offering to ship it to us. We fell deeply in love with this enchanting place and are already looking forward to returning in the summer! Beautiful and very spacious place across the street from Mirror Lake and within walking distance to town. Easy drive to all the activities Lake Placid has to offer. Additional downstairs living room is a great set up for kids.

Our stay on the property was great. It was close to restaurants and shopping. It was clean and offered many amenities. We traveled through the night and were able to check in early. Which was much appreciated and needed. Overall we had a great time.

If you are looking to shut away the world for a few days and live in a beautiful cabin by the lake, this is the spot! We had a fantastic stay right in the lap of nature and had the most incredible view of the lake and a private dock overlooking it!

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

We had a great stay here. The check in and out times were flexible which really maximized the time we had on our vacation. The location couldn’t have been better, town is just a few minute walk away! The amenities were also great, my family and I enjoyed taking out the kayaks. Overall great rental and could recommend.
