Monthly Rentals in Midtown East, Manhattan

I spent a month in this wonderful apartment. Extremely conveniently located, the nearby subway stop will easily get you most places in the city. Walkable to many NYC highlights. Fantastic neighborhood with many nearby restaurants and a close grocery store and pharmacy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Walking into 1871 House and the Garden Room is like a trip back to old New York. An UES brownstone with high ceilings, hardwood floors, beautiful vintage furniture, and a private garden. It's hard to find places like this in NYC, let alone for a reasonable price and in a central location. Lia is an excellent host. She's responsive and kind, and she's glad to share her list of neighborhood dining recommendations. The room and house look exactly like the pictures on the listing. East 62nd Street is a great location: quiet, within walking distance to 5th Avenue/Museum Mile, UWS, and Midtown, and there's a nearby subway stop. Overall, if you need temporary housing in NYC, look no further than 1871 House!

I absolutely loved my two-month stay at Nathan‘s place. The apartment had everything I needed, with bonus touches such as great water pressure and hot water, a surprisingly spacious closet to store your luggage and many other things, an unbeatable, safe location, and peaceful silence at night. Nathan was a great host and I would definitely consider this place again the next time I’m in the area!
