The Byre @ Low Waupley Farm with HOT TUB

NatalieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We have just returned from a lovely stay here at the Byre. The accommodation is exactly as described and the hosts were fantastic, providing lovely touches such as welcome baskets for us and the dogs. The location is great for exploring the local seaside towns, and very private. I would certainly recommend and would stay again.

3 Railway Cottage Pickering , Hot Tub, Pets all'd

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Hootsman

OliverRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Everything about this venue is lovely. Dog friendly, nice decor inside. 200m walk to a local pub which served great food. The WiFi struggled at times but only a minor issue as there was absolutely no signal on my phone. The only downside to the whole stay is that I was charged £50 to use the hot tub for two nights and I had to heat it myself as it was a natural one. If I was using their electric then fair enough but using extra wood (that I brought just in case) to do it myself, the price felt excessive. Also having spoken to family about some of the places they had stayed the cleaning fee of £50 felt a touch high compared to other properties of similar size. A few minor issues but overall a superb location and would recommend to others.

Gallowgate Cottage

DanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay at Hannah’s lovely home! Beautifully furnished and the hot tub kept our children entertained. Richmond itself is lovely and easily walkable. And the Yorkshire Dales are just a stones throw away. We would recommend to anyone and look forward to returning!

Ivy Cottage, 3 bedrooms with hot tub+games room

JakeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jane met us on arrival, explained everything, then left us to chill out. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a lovely gesture and were much appreciated. The cottage was spotless and felt extremely homely. We very much enjoyed the games room and enclosed hot tub. The garden areas were vast with lots of outdoor furniture. We enjoyed a lovely ice cream at Archers ice cream parlour (10 min walk) and experienced both pubs in nearby Heighington, very friendly, great food and service in the George & Dragon. Another recommendation is the nearby Raby castle, definitely a worthwhile visit. We definitely recommend staying at Ivy cottage and look forward to returning there again. Thank you Jane.

Old Jack's - 17th Century cottage + stunning view

GaynorRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This cottage was absolutely perfect—set in the most stunning surroundings with beautiful views in every direction. The cottage was incredibly comfortable and welcoming, a true home away from home. Just a short stroll across the bridge into Staithes, it offered easy access to the sea and charming village life. We loved watching the tide from the bench on the front steps and exploring the many scenic local walks. Everything about our stay was peaceful, picturesque, and unforgettable.

Castlegate Cottage

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This beautiful little cottage is very charming and extremely central for the attractions in Pickering. All three bedrooms are decorated tastefully and the bedding and towels are clean, fluffy and comfortable. The cottage has plenty of kitchen appliances and the lounge area is comfortable with a small dining area. The living space quickly warmed up and was very cosy, including a log burner if needed. On our arrival we had a lovely welcoming gift of cake and coffee. Clemmie was a perfect host, providing plenty of information for our arrival and even managed to allow us access slightly earlier which really helped. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Three Tuns House Cottage is a delightful getaway

NicolaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was a lovely, well situated cottage. Extremely easy to get to the surrounding north York moors and the dales. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and had helpful information on the surrounding area. The cottage was very clean and homely. Pub within walking distance just across the bridge in the village. Would recommend walk from the beautiful Sutton bank national park which was only 10 minutes drive from the cottage followed by a lovely drink at the pub in hamby. Would definitely go back and stay there again.

Cosy 1-bedroom cottage with indoor log burner

IanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just got home after a 4 day break and the cottage was perfect! I’m a decorator by trade and work on property development every day and so of course everywhere i stay i can’t help but look through that lens and i have to say well done! The cottage has been very tastefully decorated throughout and designed really well too! i even took photos of the portholes that have been cut into the dividing wall between stairs lounge and kitchen because they really work to give a unified feel to the whole of the ground floor space which for a 2 up2 down it really did feel like one larger space i liked that effect , it really works right builder hat off we loved it and used it as a base to travel about from the town too was perfect with every amenity on the doorstep would highly recommend Thank you hosts Ian & Jon

Picturesque country cottage

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely place to stay. Recommend Carpenters Arms for food, 10 mins away and Bengal Kitchen Indian in Thirsk. Only slight criticism was no milk, only 3 tea bags, no shower gel etc, very little loo roll or washing up liquid, we had to buy our own. Masses of coffee though!

Runswick Bay - Top Gallant - with great sea views

SharonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful stay at Beverly's cottage. It was small but perfectly formed. Perfect for two people. It was spotlessly clean and they have gone above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need but without it feeling cluttered. A very well thought out space with generous little touches here and there. The view was outstanding. Made all the more special because of the weather we had but it having said that, it would also be lovely in poorer weather too. A lovelv log burning stove to keep you warm and cosy at night. Lovely tasteful lighting and art for a relaxing vibe. We loved this place and plan to return!
