Stayed with my friends for a night and place was lovely. Just right for what we needed. Hot tub was a good size and good outdoor seating. Decor was lovely and quirky, gave off a really nice cottage and rustic feel

Bay Tree Cottage is a beautiful old cottage which has been modernised to a very high standard, whilst remaining sympathetic to the age and location of the property. Everything was high quality, super comfortable and very well equipped from cutlery to games, bed linen to towels, mugs to cleaning materials -everything was perfect. Four of us stayed at Bay Tree Cottage and loved our walks on the beach, visiting the (very) local Cod and Lobster, going out in a local boat trip, as well as visiting other places in the local area. It was a hike up the village to the car park at the top of the village but got us fitter and the views were so spectacular we didn’t mind this and the lack of cars made for a peaceful stay. Kevin contacted us before & just after arrival, making sure all was ok and also soon after we’d left to check we’d enjoyed our stay. This is, without doubt the best Air BnB we’ve stayed in and we can’t recommend Kevin as a host and his beautiful cottage highly enough.

had a beautiful weekend at this private cottage! could really see the thought that went into this listing- the hot tub being heated ready, robes being available for guests after the hottub, dog treats/bowls being left. The cottage was decorated lovely, the photos don't do this place justice. Tom was very responsive the whole time and was very accommodating allowing us to check out slightly later due to us getting picked up at 12 and the cottage not being booked that evening. will definitely stay again, hopefully in the summer when we can make better use of the beautifully finished outdoor area.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and a pleasure to stay in touch. Felt at home the moment we walked in , quiet area with simply stunning surroundings. We will be booking again in the near future

Absolutely fantastic stay! Beautiful shepherds hut in a beautiful location. Lots of lovely birds in the grounds, and even got visited by a small herd of deer. Jay and Callum are brilliant hosts, very responsive and helpful, and have put lots of nice little touches on the accommodation that make all the difference. Will definitely be staying again!

We had the most wonderful stay. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and so cosy. We loved having the fire on the windier, chilly evenings. The cottage had absolutely everything we were needed for a comfortable stay. The information pack was easy to locate and made accessing internet and using appliances really easy. The location is absolutely brilliant..open the door and you see the beautiful harbour and very conveniently located next to the Cod and Lobster for fab food and a drink. Caryn was very responsive and helpful with how best to park. We loved Staithes, had a great walk along the coast on the Cleveland Way which you access literally from the doorstep and we had a fantastic cycle on the Cinder Track. Definitely recommend the cottage, fabulous accomodation and wonderful location. We had a great stay 😊 Thank you!

Really beautiful place and a great stay for a laid back weekend, lots a places nearby to vist as well. Debs was great and responsive to any messages too.

Outstanding. Iconic building, enormous inside, sea views from most windows and you could hear the waves crashing at night! Walking distance to everything and amazing roof terrace and balcony. Will definitely book again!

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.
