What a wonderful introduction to this beautiful country! Marta and Enrique are a charming host couple with a wealth of knowledge and helpful suggestions. - A lovely hideaway where you can relax in a quaint country setting, all the while indulging in local culture and activities!

I went to this place as a transfer - it is a bit far from actual Quito city. I think it was perfect for my transfer. The Tumbaco bus station is very close. Jairo was very kind, picked me up from the airport and drove me to nearby bus station / shops. As a woman traveling alone, it made me feel safe. He also gave me lots of ideas of things to do in the area. The house itself is beautiful with a gorgeous coffee plantation and kind staff. My room was clean, and the facilities (bathroom and dining room) were excellent. There is a shopping mall 10-15min walk. The neighborhood is quiet at night.

The Hacienda is beautiful and the staff's attention was very good. I would definitely go back and spend more days to enjoy all its activities.

Absolutely recommended . The house is very unique and the location is superb. The design is right out of an architectural magazine and the decor is very tasteful . The rooms are large and very comfortable . Some have amazing views of the volcanos . The common areas are very cozy and inviting . Wifi worked well and the showers were fantastic . The caretaker/cool are very helpful and friendly and made our stay special . I would definitely come back !

Villa Doris is a magical place to enjoy with the whole family or friends. It has all the amenities and is surrounded by nature. The best thing is that you can see squirrels, birds and even opossums! Lorena, your host, is very sweet and attentive. Everything was perfect!!

I cannot say enough good things about the hacienda. It was exactly what we needed, a private, safe, peaceful place outside the city. Manuel, the caretaker of the farm, was amazing and always available for whatever we needed. Though the place is in nature, it was still only a 5 minute drive to town and groceries, plus a perfect launching point for all the different things to do and see in the area. Our kids played all over the 12 hectare property, climbing trees, running through fields, jumping on the trampoline, and enjoying the animals. The views of the mountains were incredible!! We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend, I hope we get to return in the future.

We really enjoyed with my family when staying at Camila's house. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The property is very nice, with ample walking spaces. Ideal for disconnecting from the city and connecting with nature. There is a buoyant dog on the property and other dogs of the neighboring property, all very quiet. My daughter enjoyed playing with them. Access is by a cobblestone road; we had no difficulty getting to. Camila was very kind, the communication was very fluid and gave us some recommendations from the area. The caretaker Jose and his wife are very attentive.

Consider that at night it is quite cold in the area, walking them to take the fireplace so that their stay is pleasant like mine.

This is a lovely, custom-built little house in a scenic location. If you have a four-wheel drive vehicle it would be perfect. We came by taxi and didn't ask enough questions beforehand. It is four km from Nono and the last km is steep and requires a four-wheel drive. Our hosts shuttled us from the junction when we arrived and when we left, so we were fine. They live about a ten-minute walk from the house via a path that goes through fields. If you had a normal vehicle, I think you would park at their place, as their access road is drive-able with a normal car. The "living room with fireplace" is actually outside but enclosed on three sides. They provided wood and we were comfortable. They arranged a wonderful driver to take us to Yanacocha Biological Reserve. He grew up in Nono and had lots of local information. It was a great day trip. The house and hosts were awesome; just be prepared for remoteness. Don't plan on walking to a nearby restaurant or calling a taxi.

This place is awesome! We spent there increadible time enjoying the great views to Cotopaxi and delicious food crafted in every detail. The hacienda has its history and unique vibe which makes is so special. Raul was very helpful, generous and open-handed. We are extremely grateful for every minute we stayed there! The property is very nice and has something that few have: the possibility of interacting with horses with the help of a great connoisseur and animal lover. I am very grateful for the unique experience my son had thanks to Mauricio. My only observation is that the pool is a bit far away and not very appealing, but the whirlpool, inside the house, is wonderful.

Excellent set up and location. Very quiet and peaceful. The surroundings are beautiful. The sound of the river throughout the day makes it super relaxing. The photos are accurate. The room is cozy with big sliding doors, comfy king bed. The outdoor kitchen is stocked with everything we needed, and it was really nice to cook and eat outside and use the firepit in the evening. David was very friendly and helpful. To fully enjoy the place, one needs at least a couple of nights.
