This was an exceptional stay. The hosts, Sonia and Paolo, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist. From meeting us on a nearby road to guide us to the house, to the clear information (all written and verbal) and recommendations for local restaurants and services; it was above anything we expected or had experienced before. The house was spotless and very comfortable with all amenities and some very generous welcoming gifts including local delicacies. We would recommend this stay highly to anyone visiting the area.

Our stay at Angela's place was excellent! The house is great, it consists of multiple buildings and different areas. This was a perfect place when travelling with teenagers. Great pool area, everything neat and a very well equipped kitchen and central hang-out area. Torregrotta is an authentic, unpolished, quiet town, away from the tourist crowds and very close to cute mountain villages. The town itself has shops to get basic necessities and some good local products. Teenagers were happy with pool area and house, but town was a little quiet to their taste. We loved exploring the area, for which the town is an excellent starting point. You definitely need a car though! Angela is a top host. 5 stars for her pro active communication and hospitality, even from a distance. Care takers Donata and Paolo get 5 stars as well. They were available for any advice or technical support with the house! Can wholeheartedly recommend this house if you are looking to explore N.E. Sicily!

Extremely beautiful second house, it exudes class; private entrance gate with long driveway with fruit tree to house. Elegantly designed house which fits in the area on a mountainside, surrounded by large garden full of old olive trees. The owner is super told when explaining the house that olive oil in the kitchen comes from your own garden and not to be concerned if it runs out, there is more. Furthermore, there is terrace around the house both in the sun or out of the sun. Excess of kitchen items, fine oven and BBQ. Enjoy the sun.

We had a great time at Pietro's place. Warm welcome. The place at the heart of nature is wonderful... The pool is great... The tomatoes, cucumbers... from the garden are extraordinary. We recommend this wonderful place. Thanks also to the shepherd for his delicious cheese and for his kindness.

The perfect location to be close to Tropea but also have privacy and peace. Luisa was very kind and was always available to answer our questions. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed, the parking space was also very appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a peaceful space while also being close to the beaches.

Antonino and Sabrina's house is a gem. Well located between Taormina, Catania and Mount Etna, overlooking mountains and the sea, it is an oasis of relaxation. The house is sparkling clean and equipped with all the essentials. It is very tastefully restored. Antonino is a fantastic, dedicated host. He was not only available on request with advice on excursion destinations and restaurants, but did everything to make our stay perfect all around. I had not indicated when booking that I was a wheelchair user, and right on the first morning there were two ramps for the small edges on the door and terrace - we were touched and impressed. Although we were there before pool season, he had prepared the pool for us. Overall, a dream host! Relevant for guests with dogs: The property is not 100% fenced, there is a staircase down to Antonino's house. Everything else is closed and a dream for the dogs. Thanks!

idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. In winter it can get cold in the house, even if in the morning the sun is shining surrounded by lemon trees. We always had power outages. It was worth the trip. 🍋🌞🍊

+ Everything is good and Franco is a very good host + He is always available and very helpful + Franco shows you the area. - The fridge is a bit noisy. - There is no real kitchen.

Antonio’s place is really beautiful and peaceful, and I do recommend it to everyone looking for a zen experience in the middle of the nature! A peaceful house in the middle of the nature!

Mario was an extremely enthusiastic host providing a great comfortable apartment with well equiped kitchen. It was nice to be in a quiet central location where you can just walk out your door and join in with locals for an evening stroll or aperitivo.

Giuseppe’s brother Antonio and his girlfriend Michelle were both incredibly helpful and made our stay very special. We were gifted with a bottle of delicious wine and home baked goods. The kitchen was stocked with basics and we could enjoy cafe espresso every morning. The outdoor terrace was shared with another apartment next door but it was never an issue and we could also dry our clothes from the beach out on racks on the terrace. We had a beautiful view of Tropea and the sea. The apartment was clean and breezy, with a fan in both bedrooms and a kitchen we could cook meals in. We were very close to the beautiful Riaci beach, and Antonio told us the quieter areas. He also kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, and drove us to nearby Tropea one day. There is a great local shop near the apartment for fresh supplies. We stayed for 4 nights and it really felt like home! Grazie Antonio e Michelle!

We stayed with 7 friends in the house. We thought the location was ideal (a bit uphill) and the terrace was a nice extra! An ideal base to explore the region by public transportation! Clean, spacious rooms. And a supermarket nearby. Flexible checkout. Highly recommended!

With the help of Donatella, Salvatore's English-speaking, charming wife, and his spontaneous help, we found his house easily. It is wonderfully located with a fantastic view over the bay of Caminia, just as it looks in its photos on AirBnB. We were very happy and had wonderful vacation weeks. The apartment is spacious and beautifully and practically furnished. The reception was very warm with wine and fresh cookies. There are old tiled floors everywhere. There was nothing missing. When we didn't find a kettle, which we actually need as tea drinkers, Donatella brought us a new one the next day! When the water in the shower had no pressure after a storm, Salvatore was able to fix it the same day. The path to the small beach is easily accessible on foot. We soon got used to a steep part of the way. The water was wonderful. We left grateful and happy.

Beautifully clean, quiet and delightful sea breezes in the beach front. Weather wasn’t so good but the ever changing colours of the sea was magic! Restaurants nearby are fantastic too!

A perfect base to explore all areas of Paris from. Would happily stay here for a longer trip as well. A wonderful apartment with a great vibe.

This place is amazing. Spacious, modern and clean. On it's own, just outside Spilinga with massive views towards the sea. Directly in front of you is Stromboli Volcana which erupts every 15 minutes. 20 minute drive to more beaches than you could visit in a week. Tropea maybe 25 minutes away. Property is in an Olivia orchard, Carlo pops round to do the mowing or drop off some lemons or a bottle of his own red wine. If Carlsberg did Air BnB, it would be this.

I found myself staying at Fabio's in view of a competition, there were three of us, we felt at home. When I asked for a practical accommodation for mobility, he proposed the property in the center that I immediately accepted. In the house there is a bit of everything, at my request for coffee for the machine Fabio impeccably provided me directly with another coffee machine with pods. He also made sure we didn't miss anything. He had already warned me that the apartment was located in the center among the clubs, so we were prepared for possible noise, but it was bearable. Too bad I was there for study reasons because there are so many nice clubs below the house. If I had to go back, I would definitely choose the same apartment.

Anna place was perfect for our family of 6. 2 min walk to the beach, beautiful beach and great food. The roof top patio was perfect for sun sets and a peace drink at the end of the night. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything!

First experience with AirB&B and I couldn't have started better. The very clean property is very tidy and has the strong point of the very comfortable garden and swimming pool that make the stay very relaxing. Perfect also because I had a medium-large dog. The friendly and helpful owners were always able to respond to my needs. The location is strategic, even if you need the car, the center or commercial activities are close. The area is quiet. I highly recommend it.
