The A-frame Bella Vista has a Marvelous and stunning view, and precisely as owner, Alicia, describes as a ‘Million’ dollar view. This cute space is a must see, stay, and enjoy inside and out! I fully recommend a stay for more than a night or two. Easy to find, drive is steep, but manageable, beautiful deck, yard, great parking, and extremely close to town with wonderful shops, coffee, quaint restaurants, and easy driving to the main highway, gas, groceries, driving through and among the mountains, with many places to visit. Many local artisans. This special place offers a comfortable and peaceful place to rest, relax, and feel rejuvenated and blessed all at the same time. Alicia was extremely quick to help with texts and communication, even going out of the way to make sure everything was ready and willing to go the extra mile. The washer and dryer were extremely convenient, along with the all amenities. The deck is a special places for coffee, meals, reading and more.

Holy fireflies! Went to this spot to propose to my girlfriend, and the amount of fireflies added a magical touch. Couple that with a beautiful sunset, great view of the stars, and lightning storm over the mountains, I couldn't have planned for a better spot. You could easily view the big dipper and scorpio constellations from this spot. Very clean and a fun drive to get there! Only downside was the fire pit not working, but I attribute that to the previous night's rainstorm. Would recommend bringing a lighter just in case. Otherwise such a magical spot that we'll always remember. Obviously she said yes, but thank you for all the extras! Even used the chess set pieces as props for my proposal, thank you! Everyone should scope this pad.

We booked our stay while having work done at our home and it ended up being the perfect retreat. We worked remotely for a few days — I used the upstairs bedroom and desk as my office while my husband worked downstairs, which worked out great. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked (pro tip: take inventory before heading to the grocery store!). The decor is beautiful and all the plants made the place so bright! Mornings on the porch with coffee and mountain views were a peaceful way to start the day. We also loved exploring the charming town of Black Mountain. We hope to have the chance to return! Luke and Olessia were awesome hosts and very responsive to our questions.

We had a great stay in Burnsville! This was a perfect place to call home for the weekend. We enjoyed our time relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. Very walkable to restaurants, places to grab a drink, the farmers market, and downtown. Tucked away on a quiet street. Everyone was incredibly friendly - we’d definitely return.

Had the most amazing time during our stay. Views were breathtaking and the cabin was more than we could have ever thought possible. Will most definitely be planning a trip back

Wow this place was amazing. Definitely going to be back! Honestly everything inside the house was SO WELL thought out. Instructions everywhere for everything. Mosquito netting - what a blessing in NC spring/summer. Claw foot tub?? Great way to start my day - a bubble bath surrounded by beautiful nature. "10 min to downtown" was SPOT ON. I visited a couple favourite spots and left my dog at the house uncrated without worrying about him getting too bored in the amount of time I'd be out (he is the bestest boy though, so ymmv) My dog loved the yard! He got a bit confused by the netting on the porch, and that was hilarious to watch. We were close enough to houses to feel like there would be help if anything happened, but the way it's situated, you feel like you're in your own private little world. It was stunning and felt very safe in this space 🖤

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home with its incredible views of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls from the deck & patio! Lisa & Johns place is close to town, yet it is in a gated community up the mountain so its totally private & peaceful with it's awesome mountain views by day and a million stars at night! We spent time in Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Asheville, The Biltmore, Black Mountain and more, everything was easy to get to. I highly recommend this home!

I have stayed here multiple times and I’ve always been very happy. The only thing that I would suggest is if you are coming in late, make sure to stop at the store before you arrive as there is no complementary fruit, snacks or breakfast items. Other than that tip, I will definitely be back again :)

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

We had a wonderful time at Trace’s home. It was our annual family vacation. 11 of us from 3 months to 56. It was nice to have the pool for the kids and adults. We spent several days at the house. Loved the two living rooms. The kids had one and the adults had the other one. Plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped and so were all the other rooms. Everything on the pictures is what we saw at the home. We had one small request while we were there and Trace was on the spot quickly. Loved having the downstairs bedroom for the teenagers and the game room. Loved the location and the home. We would rent this home again for sure.

This place is very comfortable. I was looking for a relaxing and quiet retreat. This was it. Even though it is next to the hosts house they gave me my space. In fact I never even saw them. The tub is amazing and the kitchen is well appointed. Top score. IF you are thinking of staying here you should.

Carolyn's place sits at the top of the hill above the shore of Lake Junaluska. The apartment is clean and well furnished. Instructions for everything from checking in to checking out are clear, and the local recommendations are spot on. It's a really good value for the money.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

Raven’s Roost was the perfect getaway for our family! We first booked with intent to ski/snowboard, but the weather didn’t cooperate with that plan. We rebooted for family time in the cozy cabin with great space to be together for dinner and games, but also space for quiet alone time! My family loves table tennis 🏓, a big bonus for us. We loved everything about Raven’s Roost and hope to visit again when the snow comes back. Colin was great to work with; responsive, friendly, with local recommendations…which we took advantage of. Highly recommend for cozy cabin getaway!

We had the most relaxing vacation at this Airbnb while visiting our daughter at college. Everything at the Airbnb matched their description. We will definitely be back as we visit mars hill often.

My wife and I stayed here with our dog for Memorial Day weekend, and enjoyed every minute! We ventured out onto the 70 acres and fished at the nearby creek, and hiked along the trails. We ran into David while out at the creek, and he was super nice and very informative of the land. Although there was still a lot of debris from Helene, we were able to hike around the property with no problems. Mars Hill is an excellent centralized location close to Asheville, Weaverville, Hot Springs, and Black Mountain. We also spotted numerous deer and rabbits on the property, which was really cool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book again.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Lofty Ledges Hangout!!!The view from the house was incredible and peaceful whether you were on the upper balcony or looking through the gorgeous picturesque windows on the main level. The hosts were amazing, excellent communicators, extremely hospitable, and generous leaving us goodies from their farm. The space was very clean and had all the amenities you’d need. It’s relaxing listening to the river from the balcony and being surrounded by nature. The space is also close enough to Asheville to drive to the city for that atmosphere if you want it. We highly recommend staying here!

Really enjoyed staying at Kat & Mike's treehouse! We brought our dog who loved the private fenced in dog park and running with Jax & Bayleigh. there is even a dog washing station in front of the treehouse! the deck was cozy with an amazing view, and the grill had a natural gas line which was a nice touch. The soaking tub was extremely relaxing. Would definitely come back!
