Awesome place, very cozy and private! Very roomy and spacious would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to stay in the area!

We loved the location. Super close to downtown shopping and restaurants. The house was super cute, comfy beds and the screened in area outside was the best!

This is our 2nd stay at The Corner Cottage. When we arrived it immediately felt like home! The cottage is nicely decorated... Everything is given thought and it is comfortable and good quality. There is excellent climate control (both AC and heat). This year, morning coffee time included visits from a bunny and little groundhog while sitting on the backyard deck. The groundhog was also there in the evening, along with a young deer. 🥰 The location feels peaceful, safe, and it is very close to several great restaurants and shops. Rachel is so welcoming and responsive. Our daughter is fond of all the soft throw blankets, TV, and a space of her own during our stay. It is perfect for the three of us and if we aren't staying with family we can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thank you, Rachel!! 😊

Terri’s Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. The detail and thought they put into this Airbnb was impeccable. You got to enjoy the feel of a private log cabin with all of the updates! The kitchen has everything you needed, and was nice and open to the living room. There were 3 bedrooms- all with good sized beds! It rained the first day, but the second day we cooked out on the grill and had a great time staying in! We also did a little exploring to the observatory. We’d 100% come back and spend a longer weekend walking the trails and taking a train ride! Overall 10/10 stay! :)

Absolutely the best Airbnb stay we’ve ever had. The home is beautifully decorated, spotless, and full of warmth—it felt like a true home away from home. The attention to detail, from the stocked kitchen to the welcoming snacks and local coffee, made our arrival so special. The location is perfect: peaceful and safe, yet close to downtown Lewisburg, grocery stores, and nature. We used this stay as a base for hiking, exploring, and dreaming about a future here—and this home made that experience truly rich. Communication with Rachel and Monica was kind and thoughtful throughout. We are leaving relaxed, inspired, and grateful. Can’t recommend it enough—we hope to return soon!

Jennifer‘s place was exactly as described if not better. We reached out to her and brought our dog and the fenced in yard was an excellent addition to the trip. Jennifer was very responsive.

This condo is perfect for a couple! It’s a quiet and cozy ski-in, ski-out retreat located in Silver Creek with easy parking. You can also take the shuttle to Snowshoe Mountain for even more skiing options. The space is clean, comfortable, and offers a beautiful view of the slopes. The small kitchen was a great bonus, and the fireplace made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Bryan & Heather were awesome hosts to work with. Very prompt with responses to questions. Their place was exactly as described and very comfortable for my husband and I. The views getting to the condo were amazing!!! It was very peaceful with only a few people around since we stayed off season for skiing. We would stay there again if return to the area in the future and their condo is available. Thank you again Bryan & Heather for sharing you condo. *Note to others considering this condo: Heads up; winding road up the mountain with many sharp turns could be a challenge in stormy weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Unit was exactly as pictured/described. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water, well stocked kitchen with good quality pots, pans, etc. Great amenities and nice touches like stocked coffee, creamer and popcorn. Owners were very responsive and flexible. Thank you!

I very much enjoyed my night at Evergreen Inn. Jon and Laurie were very accommodating and were willing to go the extra mile to make me feel at home. The room was better than described and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Recommendations on local restaurants was spot on. The room, bathroom and everything I could see was clean and well appointed. i If you're in Covington you can't go wrong!

Carol was very responsive and the condo was exactly as advertised. We loved the 60 second walk to the hot tubs and being right in the heart of the village. Would stay here every time I come to Snowshoe.

We had a wonderful stay in Jane's AirB&B. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable.

Though we didn't stay at the one bedroom Soaring Eagle due to an issue, Phyllis moved us to another unit which turned out to be great. We were still close to the slope and would be happy to stay there again.

We enjoyed getting away for a few days. The cabin was perfect. It was peaceful and quiet with a very nice hot tub. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We relaxed at the cabin when we were not out hiking the many trails in the area or going downtown to eat at the restaurants near by. We also used the kitchen when we wanted to eat in. Again, it was the perfect getaway. We can’t wait to go back again.

They give very clear instructions on how to get here, because it is a bit complicated, but with their help we had no problem. The area is very pretty and the cabin has everything you could want. The only difficulty we had was were no able to make phone calls, we were able to get enough of a connection at snowshoe, but be aware you will be cutoff from almost all internet uses. Outside of that we loved using the fire pit and grill every night, and we look towards our next visit!

The cabin was more than we expected. It had plenty of room for us both and our grandson. Beavers living 100 yards up the hiking road and wild turkey feeding just outside the kitchen window excited us and thrilled grandson. The place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We would definitely return.

If you are looking for a wonderful, quiet place directly on the river, this is it! This outdoor property is fabulous. Large screen porch and a deck that sets right on the river. The sound and view are great. Inside is comfortable and well set up. Rhonda is super nice. She will definitely make your stay perfect.

Such a beautiful location, building and great hosts! The cabin was wonderful with great cooking utensils, pans, coffee maker and all the items needed. George and Kathy are lovely people. You won’t go wrong booking this escape! Thank you so much!

Tony's cabin is an awesome place to book. My wife and I booked this for a golf trip to play the Raven. From the house, it's exactly 10 minutes to the clubhouse, and 8 minutes of that is a gravel road. We seen 2 other vehicles on our drive in and out over 3 days. The cabin itself is very nice. Very clean and Tony offered about anything you might need. There was anything you needed in the kitchen to cook with. He's got spices, foil, extra propane, extra anything. There is wifi at the cabin and we were able to use WIFI calling. DirecTV to see the ballgame in the evening. He even provides the firewood to build a campfire at night. There is no air conditioning (common in the climate of Snowshoe) and we had no problems getting a breeze going with the windows open to keep it comfortable in June. Tony was very flexible with the check in and check out, even offering us a few extra hours if need be to be out. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We will be back in the fall to do it again!

This is a beautiful cabin in the mountains of Highland County, Virginia that was everything we hoped for an more. Our primary goal was to get away from the noise and lights of the city and this place delivered. It was so dark we could see more starts than I have seen in a very long time. It was so, so quite as well. The hiking trail and the fire pit were an added bonus that helped us enjoy our time there even more. We can't wait to go back again in the summer or fall.

This was such a great find for a relaxing stay! Peter was helpful in every way possible. The home is tastefully decorated and clean. Plenty of supplies for cooking. A nice deck is on the back of the home tucked quietly in the woods!
