Vacation rentals with lake access in Mariestad Municipality

Emelie was a great host. We felt comfortable from the first moment and communication was very easy. The location of the house right on the lake was great. Bathing either on the “own” beach or from the bathing jetty 100 m away with a bathing island is great. Wonderfully quiet location and the whole day we could enjoy the sun on the spacious terrace. Our 2 week stay went by too quickly!

Nice home with everything necessary. Spacious. No quirks. Also nice and helpful host who responded quickly.

The property was excellent and exactly as described. We were a group of families who wanted an outing during the year-end holidays and this was a perfect spot for us. Enough number of separate bedrooms/beds as well as toilets that could easily accomodate a large group. At the same time, large kitchen and living area where you can spend time and dine together. The neighborhood was a nice walk along the canals. Quiet, nice and relaxing (perhaps due to the weather). Can imagine this place bustling with people during summers. The restaurant under the property was closed due to the holidays. The HotTub was a favorite amongst everyone. There was a provision for sauna nearby which we did not try. Tony and Fabian as hosts were quite responsive and helpful. Tony helped setup the HotTub, was very friendly in approach and very helpful with recommendations. Would love to visit here again in warmer months. Highly recommended!

Quiet and Nice Accommodation with proximity to swimming and restaurants.

We had a wonderful few days at Barbro’s home! The weather was glorious and the house and surroundings were perfect! Our girls thoroughly enjoyed exploring the garden and walks to the lake for a swim! Barbro was very helpful and made us feel very welcome!

The house is located in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful area in the middle of nature away from the city. There is great nature all around, and you can see the sunsets over the lake from the window. The house is beautifully decorated and you can fully relax there. I spent two weeks of summer vacation there, for which I am so grateful.

Vygantas was a very good host, always friendly and helpful, easy to reach. The place was as described. The hot tub and sauna were the reason for booking and were worth it and you could cool off well in the river next to it. 50€ was charged for the use of the hot tub, which seems fair to me. Vygantas provided wood, which was charged with €10 per box, I find that a little expensive, but you didn't have to get your own. For families and groups, there are many ways to deal with various games in the basement. We were very happy with the documentation and our stay in winter in little Moholm.

The best stay ever!! Warm, clean and stylish home at an amazing location. With the snow it was just idyllic. Lillemor was such a kind personality; hope karma turns your gestures into a lot of good :) Helping us with everything and gave us the best end of the year & start of the year ever!! 10/10 will come back and recommend to family and friends. Our favorite stay in Sweden! 🇸🇪

Our check-in was flexible and at the same time we were warmly welcomed by the host's mom. We felt right at home at the place! It was clean and nicely (but also practically) furnished. We didn't miss anything. Nathalie even offered and set up a crib for our daughter 🌸 We loved staying here and would come back anytime! (One of the nicest places we had in Sweden in this price range - and we had some☺️)

The place is perfect and the price is good. Marilouise is a nice person, helpful and flexible in adjusting and achieving what the best is for the guest. I really enjoyed staying in the place with a hope to repeating this experience again!

We just have five adults in this lovely house. It's peaceful and undisturbed even though an older lady lives next door. We didn't see or hear anything. The rooms are nice and cozy, the bathroom in really good condition. The kitchen of older date but in very good condition. We were missing nothing in the house everything we needed was there. We were allowed to borrow the boat which was absolutely amazing to sail in and really enjoy the surroundings from the water side. We got a gas grill over, which we really enjoyed spending time in the garden, where we sat and enjoyed the view of water right by the house as well as the sunset out over the lake. If you take a nice walk down past the boat harbor around there. Find the finest completely undisturbed little beach where you can swim. There are several opportunities for good walks in the nature in the area. We talked to Susanne who came and saw us if everything was okay, if we were missing anything. It was very lovely and cozy; and then I practiced my Swedish. She can speak English very well. We'll be back: -)

We were able to spend our first Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sweden with Johann and felt very comfortable. We were there with four adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house has been big enough for that. Johan decorated the house especially for us for Christmas, everything was ready when we arrived, you could feel right at home. For questions and small problems, he was always ready and when the coffee maker was broken, he quickly brought us a new one. The area is beautiful and you have many opportunities to do something even in winter, whether to explore small villages in the area or go hiking in national parks.

We had a great time. Nice area. Close to the lake. Would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time in this charming and typical Swedish cottage. In the middle of nature, it is very quiet and unspoilt. At the same time, everything you need is available. Just the thing for relaxing. Absolutely recommended! :-)

I had a terrific visit at Sofie's home. She is an amazing host, responsive and thoughtful, and also flexible with adjustments I asked for. The home is a beautiful cottage, and the area has wonderful hiking trails and deer. It is quiet and peaceful. Sofie's description matched everything I found at the house. I'll add one more thing (in case it is helpful): the kitchen has plenty of cookware (pots/pans/cooking utensils), and there are a variety of options for groceries within 15-20 minutes in different neighboring towns. I hope to visit again, and thanks to Sofie for being a superb host!

We loved our stay at Angelica's space! The Jacuzzi was incredible and the view of the lake was perfect. Highly recommend staying here to enjoy some peace and quiet. Incredible space!
