Excellent and welcoming host. Very generous with fuel which was included in the price. The house was old, but well kept. The hosts had put a lot of thought into making the place as nice as possible for guests. Since we stayed for 7 days the fridge was a bit on the small size. It's very private and secure and the owner popped in twice to make sure that all was well. Comfortable bed, very efficient heating system between gas oil and wood. The area that the cottage is in, is an interesting one and there are potentially very good walks in the area. Would highly recommend the cottage and it represents good value for money.

We were delighted with Eve's traditional cottage--the real thing. Filled with antiques and and a wonderful assortment of vintage books. From the kitchen, to the bathroom to the sitting room and bedroom, just so charming. Some of the original stone floor is still in place as is much of the stone walls, whitewashed. We enjoyed getting to see her beautiful horses in their stalls. This place is magical, like something out of a fairytale...

I just wanted to thank Geraldine for her very responsive communication with me, we had booked to stay in her cottage for two nights, but had to cancel last minute with the storm Eowyn, Geraldine also contacted air b@b on my behalf and a full refund was given, we just communicated by text and wanted to thank you very much, hopefully soon we will get the chance again to come to visit. much appreciated Lisa
