Me and my partner really enjoyed this stay. It was a last minute booking for ourselves and Richard and Ceri were extremely attentive with their responses before and during our stay. The home itself was beautiful and was situated on a little farm. It was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Not to mention the hot tub behind the house which Richard and Ceri ensured was always at use for us! It was our first time visiting Ruthin and we enjoyed every moment. We would definitely recommend this stay to family friends or anyone wanting a relaxing couple of nights away.

I had a lovely few days enjoying the quiet and the animals were a huge plus - donkeys, pigs, goats and horses!

Fantastic stay! Steven was a terrific host with great recommendations. Steven left the essentials which was very much appreciated with two small children. The Boys loved feeding the chickens and meeting Meg the dog! Would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home!!

Sam was an excellent host. The property was just what I had imagined, very clean and tidy. set in a quiet peaceful location but not to far out from shops/pubs etc. would 100% revisit if I was up that way again.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The one-bedroom space was incredibly spacious and well laid out, with a super comfy bed that made it hard to leave in the morning! The private garden was huge and perfect for relaxing, especially with the hot tub—it felt like our own little retreat. The area is peaceful and quiet, which made the whole stay even more relaxing. Highly recommend for a cosy, private getaway!

We loved our stay at river cottage! It was so peaceful and the house was so cosy. We loved watching the sheep (from the comfort of the sofa) drinking from the river in the mornings. Angela was a great host and quick to respond to any messages. We walked round Hafren forest which was lovely (about 30-40 mins drive away) and climbed Snowdon (a 2 hour drive away). Also had a great Chinese from the village in Llanidloes. All in all, would recommend for a tranquil escape to the country.

Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

Beautiful accomodation, the aesthetic in each room was different and unique! Location was stunning, a walk right into the village with a waterfall amazingly close, perfect for a getaway. The host Emma is extremely kind, responsive and reliable. Would highly recommend :)

We loved our short stay at Lock House. Emma and Andrew were helpful and welcoming and the cottage was clean as a whistle, comfortable and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided, including a very generous welcome pack and lots of helpful information about the area. The canal-side setting was wonderful. We hope we'll be able to visit again. We had a wonderful short stay at Writers' Lodge. We knew from the photographs that we were in for a good stay and we weren't disappointed. The cottage is absolutely charming and very well equipped. Bob and Caroline are excellent hosts and have obviously put a lot of thought into making the visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible for guests. The homemade cake went down very well too and was a lovely welcoming touch.

Lovely, peaceful little home away from crowds but close enough to everything we wanted to do. Tidy, warm and comfortable. Would stay again.

What a perfect stay! Jo’s place was lovely, it had everything you could need. Was quiet, peaceful, exactly as described. Jo’s guide to the place was so thorough and very helpful. We went on some lovely walks in the area - great location, can get to some really great spots without driving. Will come again :)

Fantastic accommodation, spotlessly clean, and extremely well equipped with a beautiful enclosed garden which we and our dog enjoyed. Rachel was a lovely host, and gave us some ideas of local places to visit. The weather wasn’t on our side but we still had a wonderful stay, and plan to return.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely terraced cottage in Llangollen. The property was spotlessly clean, nicely appointed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable break in North Wales. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals, while the lounge was cosy and inviting, with a smart TV for relaxing evenings in. The whole place had a warm and welcoming feel. The location couldn’t have been better — tucked away in a quiet spot, yet just a short walk from the centre of Llangollen with its shops, cafés, and riverside walks. All in all, a fantastic base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Just back from a long weekend at Iain and Judy's lovely place. It's really cute and quirky, just what you want from an old cottage. We really appreciated all the nice touches that were included (tea and coffee, butter, croissants, jam and crumpets for breakfast, fans and heaters to keep us comfy, lots of throw pillows on the sofa etc) We got very lucky with the weather so were able to make use of the deck and garden (lovely and peaceful) as well as doing lots of walking with our dog Ruby. Judy was very kind even when Ruby started shouting at her through the fence! 10/10, we thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Stayed for two nights while climbing in Snowdonia, was a beautiful base camp. Very quiet and peaceful area. Aaron’s instructions for getting to the airbnb were super clear & his recommendations for food were great. (Plas Yn Dre do amazing food) Would stay again, especially when the weather is nice.

Wonderful location, pretty cottage that had everything we needed.

We were very pleased with our stay here. This is a compact but very efficiently laid out little building just right for a couple. Well screened from other nearby buildings. Clean and comfortable, with all essentials. The location is rural, and although close to transport links we found it very quiet. Martin is a friendly host who communicated all we needed to know before arrival.

We had a lovely stay at The Dingle. We came to the area for a wedding and it ended up feeling like a mini-holiday. The cottage is generous, well appointed and comfortable with soft beds and a good shower, and immaculately clean. We enjoyed alfresco breakfasts at the table outside, which has a thoughtfully-placed fence so that it feels private. We enjoyed a pleasant footpath walk from the cottage to local shops. The furnishings are classic and modern with interesting paintings and objects to look at. I had to teach my daughter the word ‘plush’! Louise and Stuart are friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed meeting their dogs. Thank you!

We loved our stay in Zeta's cottage! It was very cosy, with a comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. Having (private) access to the pool and sauna was especially great, and the rural setting was very pretty. The location also means easy access to Biddulph, Leek and the Peaks. Thanks Zeta for being a really friendly and accomodating host - we'd definitely come again!
