Family-friendly vacation rentals in Malborough

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

Gorgeous place with everything you'd want to have a cute little weekend away!! hot tub was set up so all we had to do was pull back the cover and hop right in. Kitchen had everything needed to cook whatever meals you fancy. Just a 2 minute walk away from the local and less than a 10 minute drive out to the moors.. perfect!!

We had such a lovely stay at the lodges, after not very many holidays having 3 young children this was the perfect fit. So much close by - farm park, beaches but also some amazing restaurants too. In the evening when kids are tucked up you can sit under the well styled and beautifully lit and thought out balcony watching the 'nightlife'. It was most certainly the break we needed and one we will remember for a very long time.

The garden was spacious and secure with the hot tub ready. Large patio area for dining out and barbecue. Helen and Jon made us very welcome , with a welcome pack of goodies for us and the dog, cream tea, milk, bread, eggs and butter. Easy to use the car charging facility, would highly recommend this cottage.

claire was very responsive. the area was very peaceful and everything inside the home yhat you could need was there, it was like home from home. Handy little shop and a pub walking distance. a few miles from bude.....perfect stay.

The house was exactly as described. The accommodation was spacious, bright and airy with everything you would expect and more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need and great kitchen appliances. The bedrooms were well positioned and beds, pillows and linen were great. The views were spectacular and the house is well positioned to easily access Torquay, Oddington and Babbacombe by car and the local pub and shops are within walking distance. The hot tub was the icing on the cake…. literally! Watching the sunset from it was incredible. The host was friendly and responsive and gave us all the information we needed. We will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend this property.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

We had the most loveliest of stays at Lucy's place. The view is absolutely gorgeous from waking up to the sunsets at night. The hut has everything you need & is perfect for needing to switch off and relax. We even had a little visit from Rosie 😻Thank you so much for letting us stay x

Had a lovely stay here with the family! House was a little tricky to find, but once we found it it was easy to get inside and the property itself is very impressive! Beautiful area to explore, we really appreciated the clear instructions and photos directing us to the best walks, and the delicious lemon drizzle cake waiting in the fridge on our arrival was an added bonus! Thank you very much :)

A magical place…fantastic location, in just a few minutes you’re in beautiful woodland - that is, if you can bear to leave the garden which is exquisite. The house is full of charm and interest, and is a joy to entertain in. We had a lovely birthday weekend and hope to visit again.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

We had a lovely stay, the apartment is very comfortable and cosy. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden with it's views over the Exe estuary. There are lots of nice walks in the area which was great for our two dogs. We would definitley book this Airbnb again if we want to stay in the area.

We had a lovely family holiday at Haye Farm. The cottage is beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is absolutely beautiful and a great base for exploring the local area. We had a wonderful stay and our kids loved exploring the farm and meting the animals!

A really lovely week, marred only by a couple of days' rain (which of course was nobody's fault!). Taryn was extremely efficient and responsive. Barbara was charming and helpful, and explained so much about the lambing process. The house was roomy - great for a family party of nine. My granddaughter loved visiting the lambs, and even holding a newly-born lamb in her arms. Wonderful rolling hill farmland to walk the dog. Visits to the sea, Exeter and Totnes were great too. Thank you, Barbara and Taryn.

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful location. Ideal for families especially those with dogs. The beds are extremely comfortable and plenty of hot water & heating which on a hive system so easy to use. Peter was very quick to answer any queries we had and very friendly. This is ideally located for exploring Plymouth & the surrounding areas. Looked to book for the summer but fully booked for the next year I think! We will be back when we can! Many thanks.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

We were so delighted with the overall place! The pool and hottub were a big bonus! The bedrooms were beautiful and the bed linen was so clean and smelt incredible! Katka was a wonderful, friendly host, but didn't interfer with our privacy! The sea views from the balcony made for a stunning spot to relax while the kids played in the pool. Our little one was well catered for with toys and swim floats and a travel cot. Also they loved being able to play in the garden which was amother massive bonus for our kids. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again. It made pur birthday celebration so special. Thank you so so much!

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

Excellent location and hosts. Beautiful, Serene surroundings. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts Valerie and Tony were wonderful and so was their property. Beautifully set up and decorated, including some photographs taken by Tony himself. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay. A bit far from the usual places, meaning you will need your own transportation. But well worth it. Look forward to staying there again

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

Fantastic facilities and excellent value for money

Really friendly host, she was quick to reply to any questions. Caravan was lovely, with lovely views of the sea. Bit of a busy resort, but the kids loved it. Would stay again.

Milton was extremely helpful. We left a few things behind he couldn’t have been more helpful. Answered every message quickly. We felt really at home in the Lodge. Everything we needed and appreciated the fire as the weather suddenly turned cold. Thank you for all your help. We would love to stay again.

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.
