The Red Rooster village homestay Goa is an extention of the Carvalho mansion, built in the year 1789. It was initially an outdoor storage area for coconuts and was there after renovated to form a part of a very basic 1 bed room house from where it gets the name. Distance from the Dabolim airport to the property is 15.9 km (26 mins) and from the Madgaon Railway station is 10.5 km (21 mins). Standard covid19 safety measures followed by caretaker and the maid. Our place is our home away for home, ideally suited for groups of 6 to 7 people looking to have a relaxed holiday. The house is just over a km walking distance from Utorda Beach, which is probably the most scenic and peaceful stretch along the coast. There are a multitude of fine dining restaurants in the vicinity. The house has many private nooks making it the perfect getaway.

This villa in South Goa was the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, especially during the rainy season. Surrounded by lush greenery, it felt calm and refreshing — exactly what we were looking for. The villa is beautifully done, spacious, and comes with all the modern amenities you’d need for a comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in the garden and enjoying the sound of the rain. It’s a great spot for a slow, nature-filled staycation. Definitely recommending it to friends!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. Vidita our host was very proactive and made everything seamless. The location was easy to find and the overall vibe was warm and welcoming. We only stayed for a night as we had a flight the next day but we wish we had more time.

Sanjeev's place (without exaggeration) is one of the best AirBnb's I have stayed at. The property is exactly as described and spotless clean. It has all the amenities you might need and there are 2 nice helpers to take care of your every need. They also keep the place clean and dry all the time and are working round the clock. The location is perfect and very convenient. It has a lot of restaurants, shopping, etc around the area and a 20 mins walk to the beach. The price might seem a bit high compared to other places around, but it is 100% worth the experience. Sanjeev is also the nicest, super responsive host and is very accommodating. He genuinely wants you to have a good relaxing time and will make sure you get what you need. I would definitely recommend it to everyone, and I would come back and stay here again. If you book it, make sure you help keep the place in its great condition and be a responsible guest so such places can be enjoyed for a long time. They are hard to find.

Jose (Venetia's Husband) had been a great host for the past 2 days. He's a honest, kind, and thoughtful man. Transportation around Goa is very expensive. But he was willing to give me rides to the city center and home at a very reasonable price. I missed my bus to Bangalore during my last day at Goa and got left stranded at a inconvenient place. It was thanks to Jose's help, that I was able to get at taxi. Thanks for making my first trip to Goa a memorable one. Will definitely be back for stays in the future :)
