Ashley & JP were amazing hosts. They had complementary muffins and eggs, labels on most shelves, were very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay went well! We appreciated their attention to detail, their informational binder(which included things to do around the area), and the complementary amenities that weren't even listed. 11/10 would recommend.

We stayed here for a wedding! The space was absolutely perfect!

Very unique place. We enjoyed the grounds and sitting by the fire outside. Our fur baby enjoyed exploring too. It was relaxing and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. We also drove into nearby Covington and had a great lunch at LOLA.

If you are looking for quiet, peaceful, and super private then this is your go to place. The house was comfortable and the amenities were excellent. 10/10 recommend to anyone interested in some time off and a place to relax.

Myrtle cottage is everything we expected and more, but the true gem is Bobbie herself. She has a beautifully appointed house, meticulously clean and she has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. We frequently visit the North Shore and this is by far and away the top choice of all the places we have stayed. She takes Southern hospitality to a new level! We enjoyed the wildlife, beautiful surroundings and peaceful property. There are plenty of places to explore and visit within 20-30 minutes, and the restaurants in the area will not disappoint. We look forward to returning to this little slice of heaven and visiting Bobbie our resident Southern angel.

Such an awesome place to stay! Fantastic responsive host who got me everything I wanted and knew the local area. Extremely friendly and professional. The place was super quiet. Much of the nearby town has train noise but not here. It was a few miles outside of town, super peaceful, in a great nature setting near a pond. Outdoor seating available. My best stay anywhere. Super comfortable bed as well. Highly recommend!

Great place and perfect for our pre-cruise stay.

Ahhhh the perfect spot in Percy Quin. We decided last minute to getaway with our kids and dog; found this little gem and booked immediately! Kay’s place is the definition of cozy. The living room + kitchen is spacious and comfortable… the downstairs bathroom is a bonus! Plenty of furniture space to relax, play games, eat, and nap. Upstairs there 2 generous sized rooms + full bathroom. We all slept well and enjoyed the natural light in the bedrooms. Wi-fi is fast. The yard space with fire pit and chairs is PERFECT …. Kids played volleyball and the dog enjoyed exploring. Kay’s place is a 1-2 minute walk from the fishing pier and lake! Directly across the street and so convenient. We explored fishing spots in the park, added a lock to the “love-lock bridge”, hiked the nature trail, left for lunch @ the Dinner Bell , grilled dinner both nights @ a pavilion in the park, napped, made smores on Kay’s fire pit, played games. Kay was kind and responsive and generous! Can’t wait to come back!
