Monthly Rentals in Magarikari

We had a wonderful stay (a little short) at this typical Cretan villa. (Safe with a baby). We had the pleasure of seeing the fridge filled with delicious fruits and more. Our host waited for us late and answered any questions we had during the stay. A great authentic restaurant address was recommended to us. Thank you for everything and we hope to come back someday.

The villa is a wonderful place to relax end enjoy Cretaen nature and lifestyle. We found the house among olive trees and goatbells perfect for our holidays and to explore great gorges, the mountains and the south of Crete. Everything was prepared in the villa, nothing missed. The fridge was stuffed with useful things to survive the following days. Alexandra prepared dumplings for a welcome and a wonderful Mussaka after some days. The hosts were easily to contact at any time. We all enjoyed the place and can absolutely recommend it for everybody who wants to escape from busy big-city- life.

Our second visit to Il Silenzio and we hope it will not be the last! We stayed last year when the magical view from the porch enchanted us. Though again we were only two, there is a nice pullout couch for more and another apartment upstairs for rent as well if you have a group. We cook so it was handy to have a kitchen full of utensils, a gas range (I don’t even have one at home!), refrigerator, washing machine and spacious place to hang laundry. We had friends over to enjoy the veranda and to sip wine Virginia left for us. Comfortable bed, clean sheets, lots of blankets, private parking and markets/tavernas nearby. So much to do and see but we felt at home. Thanks again for another wonderful to experience at your home!

We stayed for three nights and had a fantastic stay. The apartment is great and the village is great. Michalis's recommendations are great, and we can only recommend eating dinner on site, and also eating an ice cream! In addition, it is not far to the coast and popular excursion destinations such as Matala are easily accessible by car. If we are back in the area we will definitely come back!
