Hotel vacation rentals in Madeira

The accommodation offered by Elisa, a house of character, is ideally located about ten minutes walk from the old town and about twenty minutes walk from the port. Everything is easily accessible (tourist curiosities, catering points). The bedroom on the first floor was very nice (comfortable beds, window to the courtyards). Communication with Elisa was fluid. She gave us recommendations and responded promptly to any questions we had. Thank you so much Elisa!!

Excellent stay, the house is perfectly located 2 steps from the beach and restaurants, within walking distance with free parking nearby. Everything is tastefully and thoughtfully furnished, it's sublime and very well thought out, the common areas are great, kitchen with everything you need, terrace, games... and Ruben is really adorable, we loved it, we'll be back.

Anna's hotel was a very nice place to stay. Breakfast with a 5-star view included, and incredible service. We enjoyed the food and slept well, even though it was a very cold week. The view from the hotelroom to the mountains and see is beautiful. All in all, for the price you pay you get everything you need, plus the knowledge and kindness of Anna. Thank you! We will be back ;)

really nice peaceful place in the mountains. the decor in the room is a little dated but everything worked and was clean. Anna is a fantastic host with a lot of great recommendations of what to do. also the restaurant across the road serves delicious food at a reasonable price. It's nice to have it so close to spend an evening when in such a rural location.

I had an incredibly relaxing solo stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Madeira! My hosts, Yves and Julie, were warm and attentive – they thought of everything and answered every question I had. Thanks to their great tips and genuine hospitality, I felt welcome from the very first moment. The accommodation itself is an absolute dream: modernly furnished, spotlessly clean, and decorated with charming details. The view from the terrace is simply breathtaking and truly one-of-a-kind—whether it’s watching the sunrise over the Atlantic or the glittering Funchal city lights at night. It was the perfect place for me to unwind and recharge. All in all, a superb feel-good retreat that I wholeheartedly recommend to any solo traveler heading to Madeira. I can’t wait to come back!

Warm welcome, nice room with beautiful views over the valley and the sea. Nice beds and lovely shower. As a conclusion to our stay, we enjoyed an extensive delicious and fresh breakfast. We stayed one night because it was already fully booked the days after but would have stayed longer if possible.

We had three fantastic weeks at this beautiful hideaway. The flat was not modern, but it was so clean and cozy, and the view is superb. The rooms are of good size, and the beds is quite comfortable with soft pillows. The pool is big enough to get some laps done, and had a gorgeous view over Funchal. The staff made us feel welcome, and they were so helpful. We felt safe and we’ll taken care of. We like to walk, so we walked back up from the city everyday, but a taxi is only 5 euros🤓 We are coming back for sure🎉

We chose accommodation in Villa Maria Quinta, which is located in a quiet village, because we don't like the hustle and bustle of the city. Once you get used to the very steep and narrow island roads, it's easy to get with car to any part of Madeira from here. There are numerous hiking trails nearby, as well as a sandy beach. Also nearby are many restaurants with delicious dishes. Funchal is only 36 km away. The villa is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. It is excellent accommodation for larger groups because it has 6 separate cottages-apartments for a total of 12 people.

From the moment we booked the experience was fantastic. We had such a wonderful time at Yves and Julie. Not only is the residence amazing, both Yves and Julie made us feel very welcome. I had a great time and Catarina was really an excellent host! Catarina regularly inquired about my well-being, was easily accessible, and regularly informed guests about upcoming events in Funchal. Check-In & Check-Out were straightforward. The apartment is large, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated; I especially liked the balcony and terrace, overlooking the city. In addition, the apartment is very centrally located near bakeries, supermarkets, and the pick-up points for various excursions/tours were less than a 5-minute walk away. Also, the apartment was well equipped and as described. Even if several people shared the accommodation, it was very quiet overall, during the day you often had the apartment all to yourself. A cleaning lady was regularly present, and the accommodation, including the kitchen and bathroom, was accordingly very clean. I would choose Catarina's accommodation again at any time; 5 stars.

too late, we were able to make the most of this place, but the breakfast prepared for us in a picnic basket that we could eat on the beach was a surprise of the day and maybe even a whole stay at Porto santo. Very nice employees, and although not always English, will do a lot and kind.
