Great house, even better garden! We had a very pleasant stay.

We had great views from the house of the area and the ocean. The front yard was a bit small for our group but was pleasant to be in. We were not aware of our upstairs neighbors, while the house is quite noisy. There were plenty of spaces with good beds and sanitary facilities. The area is very nice. We had a lovely time.

This was a delightful place to stay. Very private and so many facilities for a small place. Beautiful views, swimming pool and honesty bar. A total hidden gem.

We had a lovely stay with the five of us. It lacked nothing, really everything was present (even a cheese slicer, nice for a Dutchman😅). Also a lovely outdoor area with enough furniture for all of us. Highly recommended. I would love to come again.

We had a very good stay, the outside/ garden and terras is excellent. We had quite some rain and even with rain you can stay and eat outside and enjoy the magnificent views. You do need a car if you stay there. All the highlights are within driving range (max 1:30h). We highly recommend this place!

It was a great time. House was great. It was little chilly since it was December, but there were 3 mobile heaters. Parking on the street is safe and good option, because driveway is quite steep for small car. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Recommend !

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Carlos explained us exactly how to arrive, even sent a short video. The communication was simple and reliable. The views from the house are magnificent and it's a perfect place if you want to stay away from hotel areas and touristic crowds . Recommended!

The safari house is a lovely big house in a beautiful setting and Orlanda is a fabulous, kind and considerate host. She met us from the airport so that she could drive us to the house, (as there is a turn off which isn't on google maps) and showed us around. She was always on hand, and even sent her husband round as we couldn't find any fire-lighters so he came round with 2 packs and left them out for us whilst we were out the following day. The house is so peaceful and in stunning surroundings, we did many walks around there including the Levada walk, (both ways on 2 separate days) and up the hill to Pico do Cruz. All our family loved the stay and we would definitely go back, Madeira is probably the best place we have visited for walking, it is stunning!

it was a really very nice big house with a paradisical balcony and a magnificent view over the whole village at less than 300 meters high. You have to have a car very clearly,otherwise it could be problematic. It actually gets cold at night and in the morning, but there are at least mobile heating devices in the apartment. Unfortunately, we also noticed cockroaches in the direct reference, but after we removed 5 pieces, we didn't have a problem with it anymore

I had a great time here. The location is just perfect, in the middle of Funchal city centre. I was lucky enough to stay in December and there was a very nice Christmas Market just around the corner. Everything was as expected. I would come again!

We had a pleasant stay at Ivone and Garry's. The apartment has an amazing sea view and everything you need. We will come back without hesitation for an upcoming stay in Madeira!

We had a lovely stay in Madeira! Absolutely stunning views from the apartment. Marco was super responsive throughout our stay, and found us a lovely local taxi driver when Bolt/Uber had forsaken us. Would definitely stay again!

Value for money this property was great. The exterior report is great. The area is quiet. The property has a beautiful sea view and the mountains in the background. We felt right at home. Nearby (at the port or on the local beach) is also a car rental (Tropical) to be mobile on the island.

I really like it It is necessary to keep in mind only the path that Google Maps gives us but once we know the right way, nothing to point out!

It was just the way we expected, too bad the jacuzzi needed so much time to warm up that we didnt use it.

Wonderful stay in a nice location We had a very pleasant stay at this apartment. The location is excellent: by car you are in the center in about 7 to 8 minutes, but also within walking distance there are plenty of shops, restaurants and basic amenities. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained. The photos on the listing match reality well. All basic amenities were available, including a separate shower room, a bathroom and two toilets, which was very comfortable. A small improvement would be to add some practical things, such as a coat rack at the entrance or a shelf in the shower for toiletries. A big plus is the private parking. However, it is useful to take into account the size of your car, as the parking spaces are a bit on the tight side. Also be careful with waste, because we noticed that this can attract ants if it is not disposed of properly. All in all, highly recommended

We had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb. The house was absolutely breathtaking, with its beautiful design, spacious rooms, and luxurious touches that made it feel like a true getaway. The spectacular view was something we’ll never forget, offering a peaceful backdrop that we enjoyed daily from the patio and living areas. What made our stay even more special was the incredible team. Nelson, the gardener and maintenance man, was incredibly kind and helpful, always available when we needed anything, yet never intrusive. His care for the gardens was evident, and he made sure everything worked perfectly. Nelia, the cleaner, was also fantastic, going above and beyond to ensure the house was left immaculate. She was so thoughtful and accommodating, making our stay feel effortless. The combination of this amazing property, the stunning views, and the wonderful people made this a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay at one bedroom villa. Garden with herbs, pool, view and the house were spectacular. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful here, we would definitely come back. Check in and all communications with Fabrice Ana and Shelom were responsive and helpful, definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved staying here. The photos do not do the place justice. It really is a beautiful house. It’s so very quiet there too. I loved being in the garden to do yoga on the platform, surrounded by plants. The hosts added so many little touches that were really appreciated- plenty of soap, herbs in the cupboard, a bottle of wine, books ….. I really did not want to leave. There are not many beautiful, very quiet places to stay. We were only 15 minutes from Funchal!

My friends and I loved this place! The hot tub is great and the view is beautiful. It’s very peaceful and fairly close to the main town of ponta da sol and central to get around the island. One thing to keep in mind is the hill getting up to the bnb is quite steep without railing so make sure you have a steady car that can handle it.

Everything was perfect. The cottage is overcomplete. It is not a holiday home but a home. Contact with the host will be picked up quickly and clearly. The view is stunning. The wifi is good, the children were very happy with that.

Very large and well located accommodation that allows you to do all the activities in Madeira with a reasonable travel time by car. It is also very well-equipped and has a wonderful view of the ocean. The garden is also very pleasant. In addition, Michael was a lovely and very responsive host, we recommend it!

Unbelievable view and house, we had such a great stay here enjoying the pool and all the location had to offer. Madeira was such a beautiful island to explore and was great to come back and relax at Rui’s house after exploring. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a private place with a great view of the ocean.
