Beautiful AirBnB with a view. The sunset could be seen perfectly from the balcony. All rooms with sea view. Super equipped kitchen, from pasta strainer to hand blender everything was available. Very clean and nice, cozy. Upon arrival, we even received a welcome gift with delicacies from Madeira. Communication with Daniela was flawless and she always responded quickly to our questions. We highly recommend this AirBnB and would come back again and again!

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). A beautiful, immaculate house with EVERYTHING a guest could hope for. I don’t think we have ever stayed in a house that was so well equipped. It is located quite far from the old Town of Funchal and a bus or taxi ride is essential. If you haven’t been to Funchal before you need to get used to its hilly setting. Some are very steep, but there are plenty buses and taxis both priced very modestly. You will not be disappointed with this house, its pool and stunning views.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa dos Francelhos! The house is beautiful and spacious. António was very hospitable and welcoming throughout, providing us with recommendations, fruit, wine, and local delicacies on arrival! We had such a lovely trip to Madeira and that was in no small part due to our stay at Casa dos Francelhos.

The house was great and the outdoor area with the swimming pool and the barbeque was amazing. Most of our meals were there and we loved it! You definitely need a car to reach the house and to move around, but if you are ok with it, I totally recommend this place. Many great walks/levadas, the sandy beach of Calheta and the beautiful Paul do Mar are within easy reach with a car too.

We had a lovely stay with the five of us. It lacked nothing, really everything was present (even a cheese slicer, nice for a Dutchman😅). Also a lovely outdoor area with enough furniture for all of us. Highly recommended. I would love to come again.

Great stay! Patricia is very responsive, rigorous and welcoming, the house is of exemplary cleanliness and very pleasant to stay in, with a lovely view of the horizon. Everything you might need is provided in the accommodation (and even more). For accommodation, it is better to have a car because all the roads are sloping in Madeira, but the calm and charm of the place are worth it. Most of the island's landmarks are quickly accessible from the house. In conclusion, I am delighted and would highly recommend it!

My children and I had a great time at Eleonor's quiet house with beautiful views of Funchal. Parking nearby is very much appreciated. No difficulty in parking. The house is impeccably clean with all the necessary amenities available. Excellent welcome by Claudio when we arrived. Very responsive to our requests and recommended very good restaurants. I highly recommend it. 😉

We had a fantastic stay. The views are amazing and if you want peace and quiet away from the busier beach area this is the place to be. The walk down is easy, up is a lot more challenging but good exercise. Garry was very responsive, helpful and friendly.

Wonderful stay close to centre of town. Extremely well equipped kitchen for home cooking / day trips + lots of restaurant recommendations.

We absolutely loved being right on the ocean! It was within feet of the house!- with the waves crashing and the patio where we ate all our meals, provided an excellent ambiance for our trip. We stayed 6 nights and were so glad we didn’t move around to other places. The promenade next to the house is very scenic and offered a one mile round trip walk along the ocean . Watching the surfers was also a plus.

The house is very nicely located, a little off the beaten track but very quiet with a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and down to the sea. We were there in May and had sun on the roof terrace from 10 AM to 8 PM. The decor is tasteful and there is everything you need. For cooler days there are heaters. The landlady is very friendly and welcomed us personally. During the stay, she was there to help and guide us. We felt very comfortable in the house and would have liked to have stayed longer.

Ana Maria was a lovely host and very accommodating and helpful. The house was immaculate with a lovely view of the ocean and mountains. Seixal is a great location close to beautiful walks and a stunning coastline.

We spent 2 weeks in Casa 1 in Calheta. The instructions we received made check-in super easy and flexible. We received information about supermarkets in the village and also a recommendation for a restaurant. (It was very good!) We felt comfortable, there are several ways to enjoy the morning sun or the evening sun outside. There is a grill and 2 parasols. The place was very clean and had all the necessary things needed for cooking. There were also laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs. We would come again.

We arrived late at night and were unprepared for how beautiful the view from the house was when we woke up! Manny was a super friendly host, waiting patiently for us late at night with a flashlight to guide us to the parking for the house. He even came and helped me back out the car when I was having difficulties! The house itself was super comfortable with everything you need: well-equipped kitchen, fast internet, comfortable beds, and a good temperature. 3 portable heaters were super helpful in cold days. There's a small grocery about 5 minute from the house and some amazing trails right outside the door. Would happily return!

This house is really nice and very well maintained, there is everything you need for a pleasant stay. It is close to a small bar with an excellent and inexpensive poncha made by the owner (someone very nice) and a convenience store. Odélia who welcomes us is a really very friendly person and gives good advice. We highly recommend this rental.

We had a great stay and the location is sensational. There was everything you needed and we were also set up the travel cot before arrival.

A beautiful house and big enough for 6 people. Very clean and well equipped. 3 bathrooms! Parking is difficult, but with the video instruction it works, unless you have a very large car. We would highly recommend this house if you like a quiet environment. Beautiful view. And a jacuzzi!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Carlos explained us exactly how to arrive, even sent a short video. The communication was simple and reliable. The views from the house are magnificent and it's a perfect place if you want to stay away from hotel areas and touristic crowds . Recommended!
