The space
Nestled on the Makria Miti hillside, amongst olive trees and indigenous bushes you will find the wonderful Villa Bueno. Reflecting the classic sugar cube architecture of the Greek islands, Bueno looks down a gentle slope towards the azure sea below. The villa design incorporates two distinct units, ideal for sharing between families and large groups. A salt-water infinity pool provides the main focus at the front of Villa Bueno, and if you fancy the real thing, it’s just a five-minute amble down to the beach.
Rippling in the gentle breeze, the topaz water of the infinity pool is the center of attention as you step out of the French windows fronting Villa Bueno. The surrounding loungers are at your service - stretch out in the blissful sunshine with a good book, or maybe take a snooze. Umbrellas are on hand for when it’s time for shade. Fringed by gorgeous pink bougainvillaea flowers, the picturesque outdoor lounge is a lovely place to sit for a chat and a refreshing drink. Meal times are a treat as you gather around the shady outdoor table, enjoying the dazzling vista off the South coast of Paros.
An elegant, airy space, the living room subtly references a seaside influence. A delightful scattering of marine themed ornaments complement sandy colors and driftwood style furniture. The homely, country style kitchen is a cheerful place to prepare your meals, and extremely well-equipped. An eclectic mix of hanging decorations sits above the practical kitchen island, and in front of the adorable shuttered windows.
Shared between the ground, lower levels, and the guesthouse, Bueno hosts a twin and four double bedrooms. The twin room is fit for a princess, four-poster beds framed with pretty pink curtains. Pristine white and sky blue combinations in two of the double rooms foster tranquil evenings and bright, optimistic mornings. Or choose between the playful hot pink, and the soft peachy tones of the final two bedrooms. The en-suite bathrooms are equally as varied in character, yet all brought together by graceful vessel sinks.
A pleasant five-minute stroll will take you to a secluded sandy beach. Take a book and listen to the waves lap therapeutically against the shore. For a nature themed day trip, venture further afield to the scenic Butterfly Valley. As the name suggests, among the lush foliage you will find thousands of beautiful butterflies, gracefully fluttering against the bright blue sky. Paros airport is close, just a ten-minute drive away.
