Our stay at this property was completely pleasant. The apartment was clean, well maintained and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Despite its compact size, it looked cozy and welcoming. A special highlight was the offer of hot tub and sauna – perfect to relax after a long day. The hosts were friendly and made for a smooth stay. We will be happy to come back! :-)

I spent a wonderful night in the cozy house. Small but very cozy and nice! Lots of light and everything is available. Private entrance and plenty of private space around the cottage. Yvonne is friendly and flexible. A beautiful base for a hike and trail run on the Sallandse Heuvelrug.

The Tolhuisje has all the charm of a 200 year old property and all the comforts of the 21st century. It has been tastefully refurbished with an eye for historical detail. It was the ideal base for us for a midweek Overijssel. Zwolle, Enschede, Deventer, the Salland hills and our family were (almost) all within 30 minutes. And if the sun shines all week, the week can no longer be broken. Frank and Marieke are incredibly friendly and approachable hosts, easy and quick to reach. In short: absolutely recommended.
