A super house off the main house you will feel right at home here. Has absolutely everything you would need inside. The hosts were lovely people so friendly and gave great information about the locality. Will definitely return again for a summer stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Shanagarry Cottage during our Christmas trip to Cork. We stayed for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed eating at Ballymaloe House (which was the main reason we stayed in Caroline's Cottage), spent a fortune at the Ballymaloe grocery store by the Cookery School, and had easy access up and down to Cork to visit family and friends. We love Ballymaloe House and this visit wanted to be more self-sufficient and that's why we stayed here. Caroline met us when we arrived and she was very kind and welcoming. She showed us a few things about the cottage so we could get settled in quickly - how to use the washer/dryer, the heating/thermostat which saved us the extra step of reading her very helpful "Welcome" brochure. We also ate at Cush in nearby Ballycotton - only a 9 minute drive from the Cottage. The 5 course tasting menu was really enjoyable! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip home.
