Awesome location and a beautiful piece of land, the house was everything he said it would be and more. Great house , beautiful spot with lots of privacy , peaceful, scenic spot that overlooked the hills in the background. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the furniture was equally so...We'll definitely return.

Sarah’s place is a true gem! Its location can’t be beat. We so enjoyed sitting on the porch or in the hot tub and listening to the flowing river and the birds - we even spotted A few river otters across the bank! The short walk to the waterfall was a must after floating in the kayaks for a bit. We so appreciated the comfort of Sarah’s place. It provided us with a much needed peaceful getaway while still being close and convenient to downtown Dahlonega. Check out Spirits Tavern and The Underground for yummy food choices! We also visited Doghobble winery and enjoyed taking in the beautiful scenery there as well. Would highly recommend and would love to return ❤️

An absolute GEM! This hidden little cabin was a perfect retreat for us. Having two small little kids visiting for a wedding we were able to do some fun things in between. A little hike, (searching for bears as my son would say) enjoying the scenery, my son even tried fishing for the first time! And when the kiddos went to bed early we were able to enjoy the sounds of the running water from the hot tub. My only wish is that we lived closer to come back to this beautiful place! The owners were more than accommodating, we were able to check in early which was such an added bonus because of the kids and the wedding stuff we had planned. And the coffee was stocked! Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful place!

We had a wonderful time here! The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. The location is great and we enjoyed walking around the property. There’s a fire pit to enjoy and we walked along the stream. Overall, it was a great experience!

Arthur was responsive and kind. The cabin was beautiful and beds were super comfy! House had nice amenities and the outdoor space with the hot tub were great. The walk to the river was beautiful, but steep. We only walked down to the river once, as you can see it great and hear it from the back porch. Lots to do within a short driving distance. The downtown area was adorable with lots of activity and shops!

If you have ever wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail, this is the perfect spot! You can be on the AT in 10 minutes…easy walk. The porch is amazing! We are return visitors and hope to come again. Leah and Sean are great hosts!

Cabin was what you think about when you want to just get away into the mountains. It is very nice and in great condition. You can disconnect or stay connected with WiFi and direct TV. The hot top was fun and grill was in great condition. It is a 45 min drive to Helen or Blue Ridge mountain. Mountain drive does take time to get use to. Definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin! The cabin is exactly as described and just so cozy! We loved all of the small, intimate touches! Jennifer is a great hostess and responded immediately to our small concerns! Highly recommend!

We stayed here five years ago on our honeymoon, so we decided this year for our anniversary, we were going to stay here again. It was lovely, just like last time - the fireplace is so nice, the kitchen is quite well stocked for an AirBNB (we've seen some bad ones, and we've always been able to cook easily in this kitchen!), and there are plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Our son liked the game room downstairs, and there's plenty of room to let our dog play. There are DVDs and an HDMI cable. Had it been warmer, we'd have loved using the fire pit, too. Plenty of room, and the binder full of things to do is a nice touch (and so is the hiding game!). Do note: the grocery store is a solid twenty minutes away, so it's not a quick run down the street. Highly recommend planning on one big grocery run should you need to. There are usually miscellaneous basic spices and such in the cupboard. There is also not a first aid kit as far as we could tell. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Close enough to the town center and also very secluded feeling. Upon entering the rental we immediately noticed how clean and tidy it was (oil diffusers in multiple rooms added to the effect). The host has notes and labels throughout the house to help easily acclimate and settle in. We cooked dinner most nights and were overjoyed by how fantastically well stocked the kitchen is with high quality tools/equipment. One thing that always stands out to me when I’m traveling is how convenient it is to have hooks to hang things on. I really appreciated the abundance of hooks in the bathroom and bedroom. The host is very responsive and helpful. She offers many good suggestions on things to do/places to visit in the area and was able to successfully walk me through how to turn on the fireplace our first morning there.

We stayed for a girl weekend in the Gold Mine Cabin and it was perfect. The cabin was well stocked with nessesities and was just exactly as expected from the description and photos. The location was close to a wonderful winery and downtown but also seperate enough to enjoy some peace. Crystal was full of recommendations and very responsive! We had a great stay!

We booked Kim‘s place for a wedding weekend and it turned out to be just perfect for our needs. It was close to the venue and the different activities. The setting was peaceful and was easy to find. Kim was a pleasure to work with with quick responsesand very accommodating. I highly recommend her place.

Beautiful home, secluded in lush trees, sunroom, hammock, all sorts of games!!! Close to downtown and wineries.

Great house and location. Fully equipped even down to the scotch tape to wrap the wedding presents ( which we had left at home) Great host.

I stay in a lot of airbnbs and this was a favorite for me! Monica was an exceptional host with lots of little items that made a big difference Toothbrush was a big win because my son forgot his! Fishing rods since we didn’t have ours. Honestly there was so much thoughtfulness I can’t list them all! House is small but perfect for 3-4 people. Fire pit was great and the river is private and BEAUTIFUL. I enjoyed the 5 minute walk through the woods. Bed was comfortable. Shower nice. Everything new and clean. We didn’t use the downstairs but maybe next time! We would love to get back here again some time.

The back porch was very pleasant. We saw several deer in the neighborhood. The fireplace was very enjoyable and our host had plenty of wood. We would recommend it for a great escape.

This place is breathtaking and so peaceful. The cabin was spotless and put together very well. Easy to find everything we needed. The deck and fireplace was definitely a hit for lots of laughs and memories. Being able to wake up and have a cup of coffee on the swing listening to the river was relaxing. Our family of ten, six adults and four children, had plenty of space to move around and ample sleeping accommodations. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The rainy weather put a damper on outside activities, but gave us the opportunity to rest and rejuvenate from the busy Christmas holidays. We all agreed that we would love to come back to the cabin in the summertime. Maybe even float down the river a bit!!
