What a beautiful spot! The cottage was so cozy and so much detail and thoughtful touches added. So quiet and relaxing, the view from the deck was a perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee. Cannot wait to book again next year!

What a beautiful spot! My siblings and I had an amazing stay and highly recommend checking out this piece of paradise! To be back on Lake Utopia after 15 years has been so memorable! We are so fortunate to stay on the same lake that we grew up on and visited every summer. This incredible space was absolutely stunning. Thank you Catherine! We will definitely be back!

We had such a nice stay at the Hideaway Cottage! I travelled with friends, the cottage was spotless and very comfortable. Shauna was an excellent host, she provided all the information we needed . We enjoyed the hottub! What a peaceful getaway. I highly recommend this spot.

What a beautiful location , rich in history. The grounds are amazing with lots to do including walking trails. The receptionist was very friendly and took the time to give us a detailed explanation of where we were staying and where all the amenities were located. The breakfast was very good and the location is central to many attractions. Loved we could visit with our two dogs . I would certainly stay here again.

Was the perfect get away for a bunch of tired moms. It was relaxing and beautiful! Tammy was very easy to communicate with and even checked in on us during the stay to make sure all was well. Very thoughtful. House was stocked with supplies and the tub was awesome!

Cottage was spotless, very serene, great getaway and close to St Andrews! Shauna was the perfect host - responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

We had a terrific, peaceful and relaxing time at Whale of a View! The house was comfortable, clean and had a wonderful view of the water and we appreciated all the different sitting options. Screened porch, beautiful deck, picnic table and around an outdoor fire pit. Beds and furniture were comfortable, kitchen clean and had all the utensils/appliances that we needed. Campobello Island has a lot of different places to explore, hike, and soak in the beauty.

Amazing place to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the water and wildlife. Neil was a superb host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome . The place was more beautiful than the pictures and the view and sunsets amazing ! Our golden Luna loved the daily walks down for the bay and spent hours in the water . We will definitely be back ! Thanks again Neil and Debby for being the most superb hosts !

A great place to weather a storm! We were greeted by a rare nor’easter so we weren’t able to hike around much but we enjoyed having coffee and looking out the windows at the gorgeous view. There was a bit of a snafu with the cleaners that take care of the property, but Brian was very responsive and apologetic and offered multiple solutions. The bidet in the bathroom downstairs was a bonus!

Fit our needs totally! The view of Johnson’s Bay and the Bay of Fundy beyond are spectacular. Canada is right there and we enjoyed visits over the bridge- don’t forget your passport. We enjoy hiking in West Quoddy Head and Cutler. There are many other trails as well. Quoddy is perhaps 10-15 minutes away. Walked to the Farmers Market on Saturday and enjoyed walking to 3 nice restaurants downtown. We usually camp at Cobscook Bay State Park so this was a very nice change for us. Imagine all the comforts of home in such a beautiful part of Maine. Each room is so sweet and tastefully decorated. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. And extra things you just might need. Carol Sue thought of everything! Love that dogs are welcomed. We have a 14 month old puppy but she has more manners to learn before we bring her on vacation. But love that we can bring her when she settles a bit more. Oh especially loved no TV but there is Wi-Fi. Thank you Carol Sue for making this available!

I could write a book about how wonderful our stay was! My 6 year old and 2 year old had plenty to do. Our hosts provided canoes and life jackets to paddle the inlet at high tide and see the little waterfall. There was corn hole and croquet, fire pits on the beach, and we didn't feel like we needed to leave the whole time. Everything was there for us, and we just brought our food. They took us to clamming and were able to provide anything else we requested. Crossing the creek at low tide was a breeze after they guided us through in our Toyota Corolla Cross. We'll be back and probably with more guests to enjoy the other cottage. This is a dream spot for a vacation!

Great stay away from the hustle and bustle! The host was helpful and flexible about a few changes in plans. We found everything we needed at the house and useful instructions where needed and guides and maps for nearby attractions. We'd be delighted to stay there again!

Kate’s property is amazing! It’s on the end of a gravel road, so it’s very private (It’s literally in the woods). The second we walked through the door we were blown away. Huge picture windows showing off the beautiful view of Orange Lake. The cabin itself was spotless. So clean and bright. It has a covered deck and an enclosed porch perfect for sitting and enjoying the views. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Plus the grill outside (we only used it once because it was cold and windy)The heat kept the place toasty warm and the shower was nice and hot. The beds were comfy! The WiFi worked great and there was even a smart tv with all the streaming services. All the comforts of home. We didn’t have any major issues but any small questions we had, Kate was very quick to respond. The dogs loved walking around the area, which consisted of dirt and gravel roads, so no traffic. Definitely an 11/10! We plan on returning!

Cottage #7 more than surpassed our expectations. We have family in Pembroke, and we elected to stay here for a visit and this will be our go to spit every time. It's super quiet with all the essentials which made it easy to unplug and unwind while being really close to food options and shopping. We are definitely going for a waterfront spot for our next visit, but #7 sits alone atop a hill overlooking a Meadow, which is really nice from a privacy standpoint. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thank you!

One of the best places we have ever stayed, with one of the best hosts. The home is thoughtful and peaceful, Arnold and his wife have done a beautiful job at cultivating a relaxing and restful environment. The scenery and area is amazing, perfect central location for exploring lots of different parts of Maine, or the house/land is good enough for a trip where you just stay in for a week. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, hope to be back sooner than later.

My mother and I loved our stay at Tugwassa. When we weren’t exploring the nearby area, we spent our time looking out at the pond, enjoying the fire, and reading Mrs. Osborne’s poems! The cottage is beautifully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen. I loved taking the time to appreciate all the artwork and ornaments. Anne is very welcoming and hospitable - she has many great local recommendations and is nearby if you need any help. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

We had such a wonderful 3 night stay here! The cottage is so clean,nicely decorated,spacious and comfortable. The unit for ac/heat works is very fast and efficient. We loved all the sitting areas in and around the cottage,and really enjoyed sitting on the dock for morning coffee and evening cocktails and were lucky to see beautiful sunrises and even a gorgeous moonrise from there one night as well. The kayaks and canoe were such a bonus,and were so fun to tour around the beautiful lake on. It was so quiet and peaceful this time of year and we could even hear the loons on the lake. We also enjoyed exploring some of the trails,towns and restaurants nearby that Tammy suggested in her welcome book. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us,we can’t wait to return! 😊

We loved our stay at the cottage! We are native Mainers and the Steuben/Milbridge area is one of our go-to locations for relaxation. The cottage was private, peaceful, and the views were amazing! Being right on the water was a nice perk and we spent some time on the rocks when the tide was out. The cottage has wonderfully comfortable furniture and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on! It is also one of the cleanest cottages we have stayed in as well. It felt very much like home! Teresa was in contact throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was great to know she was there to answer any questions we may have had. We will definitely stay again!!!

Our family had a great time during our visit at Darcy’s air bnb. We LOVED the private beach. We spent most of our time either walking the beach or relaxing by the little fire pit making s’more’s with the kids. We would recommend this place to anyone and we would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved my stay here! If you’re looking for somewhere very rural, quiet and secluded, this is a perfect place. It’s fit for one or two people, it was so incredibly cute and whimsical, definitely the best place I’ve ever stayed!

Picturesque view with lobster boats, the pier and the ocean. Quiet mornings watching the sunrise and lobster boats going out was relaxing. Having Chippman’s Wharf down the road was an added bonus for fresh fish. Nice location!

What a perfect spot for our 32nd anniversary getaway. The house felt tailor made for us with all the comforts of home plus a serene environment that was cozy on the cool, rainy days. And when the sun came out….spectacular! We were super impressed with the digital guidebook that Nicole and Russ provided - it covered every question we could come up with! Little Gem is just that ✨ next time - a longer stay!!
