Stayed here with family for a wedding in the local area, well equipped house with everything you need. Would recommend and would stay again if we ever need to

My fiancée and I had a lovely stay at Fiona’s place; the location was wonderful and it was very quiet. Fiona was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely come back if we were to visit the area again; Keswick and Cockermouth are easily accessible if you have a car.

This cottage was amazing and peaceful. We'll come back again just to enjoy the view from the cottage.

We had a fantastic week at The Spinney, the location above the Cocker and looking over to Whinlatter is superlative. Adam and Mary are great hosts, furnishing the cottage with thoughtful touches, a plentiful supply of firewood and generous welcome gifts, and sharing their beautiful garden. The Spinney is in a great location away from the honeypots of the Lakes but within easy reach of everything. Thoroughly recommended!
