Chalet vacation rentals in Lothian

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

Lovely lodge situated 10 minutes away from Loch Lomond! Views from the lodge are absolutely stunning. We loved looking for the bunnies in the field and bird watching. Lots of useful amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. The shower pressure was not the best but it did the job and heated up quickly. Great WiFi speed. Great enclosed grass area for dogs and you are allowed to walk around the owners field to go and see the sheep and lambs. The owners were lovely and friendly too, Lesley was brill on check in, showing us how to use all the different things and gave lots of recommendations of things to do in the surrounding area.

Mel met us on arrival and kindly showed us round. We were slightly early to check in and that wasn’t a problem. We were left some milk and biscuits (that tasted amazing) which was a lovely touch. It’s such a gorgeous setting, so peaceful, yet only a short walk into the town itself that offers plenty bars, restaurants and takeaways. Highly recommend, it certainly exceeded our expectations.

Lovely location that was easy to find and within easy access of beaches, town and main road. The space was spotless and as described. Will be staying there again

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Very secluded and quiet. The cosy cabin and decor was the perfect vibe to match the surroundings. The Manor Party Lodge was perfect for a girlie weekend with 7 friends. We had an amazing time. The lodge was clean and well maintained and the hot-tub was wonderful. Cleaning staff were nice and friendly. We would definitely book again.

Location was really good being 10 minutes from St Andrews yet still peaceful. Attention to detail was great with oils for cooking, tea bags/milk etc and a bluetooth speaker. Hot tub was perfect temperature and easy to use, we all agreed that this was the best lodge we have stayed at so far.

Linda’s place was absolutely magical - you are nestled amongst trees with views of the loch and surrounded by birds chirping. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen was so thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the chalet itself is perfect : 20 minutes from Callandar which had great restaurants and shopping, and 10 minute ride into Killin and other beautiful nature spots. Linda was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay — it really made our experience stress free. We will definitely be back!

The house and setting were both absolutely stunning and we were so close to lots of beautiful walks! The house was so well equipped and had absolutely everything you would need. Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again!

What a brilliant location. The lodge was all and more than we expected. The location of the lodge on site is excellent as there is very little passing footfall. Inside the lodge is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The outside decking area is large, overlooks the lake with comfortable chairs and table. Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Absolutely lovely stay for my son’s 4th birthday at stagshead. The lodge is beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice, the views were stunning on an evening and we all had a fantastic time. Thankyou!

Lovely place to stay with a beautiful view of the Loch. Very quiet and private and just 5 mins walk to local village with cafe, pub, shop.

Spent 4 days in the Milano. Absolutely beautiful van in the perfect location. 100% recommend and will return. Hosts were very good with communication. Best holiday we’ve had. Thank you
