Ground floor 1 bed Georgian drawing room flat in the heart of Stockbridge. Deluxe king size bed that can be made into twin beds if you would prefer. Separate bathroom with walk in shower and separate bath. Bright spacious living room with concealed integrated kitchen. Perfectly located for exploring Edinburgh. You have the flat all to yourselves. We live just a few doors away from the flat so if you need anything during your stay, just let us know. Stockbridge truly is a village in the heart of the city, with everything Edinburgh has to offer right on the doorstep. Edinburgh is best explored on foot so bring comfy shoes and be prepared for some hills ! Taxis and buses are however plentiful with a bus stop right outside the flat taking you to Leith where you can visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. The heart of the city is a comfortable 20 minutes walk from the flat and to the North, Edinburgh’s stunning botanic gardens are only 15 minutes by foot. Parking outside the Flat is free on single yellow lines after 5.30pm and there are no parking restrictions at weekends from 5.30pm on Friday until 8.30am on Sunday morning. Metered parking is available in the neighbouring street. Meters operate from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Stockbridge is right on your doorstep and on Raeburn Place you will find an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and food convenience stores. You can walk into the heart of Edinburgh ( Princes St and the castle ) in 20minutes from the Flat. Edinburgh’s botanical gardens are also just a 15 minute walk away.
