Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lothian

Fantastic stay. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Hot tub was great and the garden was peaceful. Everything was spot on and communication was great! Will be back!

Me and my daughter stayed here for two nights recently, to attend a local wedding. Vicky went beyond what was expected of a host. The dwelling was decor throughout to a very high standard and was very welcoming with some very personal touches . Personally I struggle to sleep with the road traffic noise on the front of the house, but my daughter Absolutely love staying there and we come back again as would I . Thank you very much Vicky, I would say Beeswing Airbnb is the best todate I have stayed in .

Patricia was so helpful and kind during my stay! She provided a map of the city, easy transportation instructions, and recommended some local spots to check out. Really enjoyed my comfortable stay and our kitchen chats :)

Had just a single nights stay for work nearby but the perfect place to lay my head! Quiet, comfortable and had everything I needed. Great communication with Jamie the host, easy check-in and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if working nearby.

Caroline has a beautiful home in a super location, we enjoyed the riverside walk into town for dinner and the views over the river at breakfast were wonderful. Thank you Caroline for being an excellent host.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Great place and very charming!! How was very nice and helpful. House had plenty of space, all the amenities you could want, easy bus stop access and close to grocery store. Would highly recommend staying here!!

Shiela, is a very friendly person and she gave me lots of advice about Edinburgh. I had travelled for 24 hrs and she readily accommodated my early check in. In terms of the place, it’s very peaceful and beautiful. While the city center is not too far, only 3 buses operate from there. So have to keep a watch on the schedule. I’d definitely recommend her place to my friends. But I’ll be honest, it’s a bit pricey. Maybe Edinburgh is expensive but Airbnb in England was cheaper.

Excellent and roomy apartment directly across from Edinburgh Castle - good location for accessing all the central points in Edinburgh. Location was on the western end of the Royal Mile - easy to get to the center of town but far enough away to not have too much noise from the street at nights. Comfortable beds, immaculate cleaning, and friendly check in. Thank you, Emily, for hosting us.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best airbnb we have ever stayed in. The photos really don't do the property justice; so light and airy yet still comfortable. Bags and bags of character; all furnished to a very high standard. Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts, like phone chargers and adaptors in all the rooms in case you have forgotten anything, and a stash of Tunnocks Teacakes by the kettle! We booked the property as we were visiting St Andrews for a family wedding and needed a four bedroom property, but this would very comfortably accommodate eight adults. Now looking for another reason to visit St Andrews just so we can re-book. Amazing.

Apartment was great, views of the firth and it's bridges stunning. Short walk to the great pubs and restaurants.

I booked this stay on behalf of my wife and friends as they were attending a wedding nearby. They couldn’t have been happier with the property. It was spotlessly clean and had everything they needed. Margaret provided some bread, jam, tea & coffee and milk which was a nice touch. They also loved the big map that people had pinned where they had come from. Margaret was a great host when it came to communication before and during the stay and was always prompt to reply to messages. She gave me lots of clear instructions to pass on. We would definitely recommend Margaret’s property to stay at if you were looking for some where in that area.

Enjoyed our stay! James was helpful and informative. The location is good, walking distance to attractions but also in a quieter area.

Thank you Johanna for such a wonderful stay. All of the instructions (with pictures!) Really ensured a smooth and easy check in and clear instructions also left for us in the flat. The flat is in a nice quiet area but still easily walkable from the city centre. We walked from Waverley and stopped at a lovely pub for tea halfway there. Very clean and spacious and the milk/cereals/nepresso were really appreciated. The main reason I booked was due to the 2 bathrooms, as with 2 couples this was ideal and meant getting ready for a day round Edinburgh was streamlined! The king bed was extremely comfy and I am assured the double was as well. We had breakfast one day at the Spoons round the corner and Sunday we ordered a breakfast delivery from Dine Thyme (would recommend for ease and good Scottish items). I would not hesistate to stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

Katrina is a wonderful landlord who prepared plenty of drinks and bread for us, making it feel very homey! It's just a half-hour bus ride from the city center, and there's a supermarket right across the street, making the location very convenient. Thank you, Katrina! If I have the chance to visit Edinburgh again, I would definitely consider staying here!

We spent a very comfortable and relaxing time at Sue's place. The perfect host. The guest area is self contained and provided everything we needed and breakfast in the morning got us off to a good start. The Inn at Kingsbarns serves great food and the coastal walk is close by so both are definitely worth visiting.

Another great stay at this wonderful location, great accommodation, great breakfast and lovely hosts. Definitely recommended and will be looking to return for another fabulous start. Thanks Lydia and Arthur. Bill & Lynda.

Great one night stay. Charming little cottage! Quiet, peaceful, warm, has everything you need and a wonderful place for country walks among the beautiful farms. The breakfast was five star and Rosemary was a very friendly and kind host. will have to come back for a longer stay.
