Vacation home on the banks of the Lot

AlexandreRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Beautiful restored mill on the banks of the Lot. Exceptional location, on the water, quiet all day, the contemplation of the river is incredibly relaxing from morning to evening. Very spacious and very nice house with a very large living room as well as a very large terrace surrounded by greenery. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to kayak at the foot of the house. It is also possible to swim for the more adventurous otherwise Castelmoron beach is a 3 min drive. Tennis court is a plus. Nicolas is a very welcoming and very accommodating host. I highly recommend renting this house for a family time surrounded by nature.
Brightly colored canoes are lined up on the grassy shore beside a calm lake, surrounded by lush greenery and gently rolling hills. Fluffy clouds drift across a blue sky overhead, enhancing the tranquil setting.

cozy cottage

We had a great time with our three big teens who tested all the activities of the estate ( pool, paddle board, kayak, pétanque...). It's a peaceful and shaded location. Communication with hosts and their availability is noteworthy. We'll be happy to go back 😊
A charming stone house is set against a backdrop of greenery, featuring blue shutters and a tile roof. A covered patio area is visible, along with a small garden and outdoor seating. Vines adorn the exterior, enhancing the rustic appeal.

Idyllic Rural French Living meets Boutique Luxury

GabrielleRating, 5 stars81 months ago
We had the most wonderful stay at Emma and John’s idyllic place. From our arrival to our departure, Emma and John could not have been more hospitable and provided us with amazing restaurants and places to see! We also made sure to have enough time to just enjoy the home and the pool! It was myself and three other girls for my bachelorette and Emma and John provided us with amazing food and wine (which we requested/paid for) as well as threw in some Welcome wine and niceties. They run a cooking class as well so I requested a day of cooking with the girls and we had a blast! You must have Emma’s cooking! The bathrooms are great, newly renovated and very stylish equipped with towel heaters as well. The area was perfect as well as we were able to do everything from wine tasting to farmers markets to castle climbing! We look forward to a return stay and recommend for a perfect stay to disconnect and enjoy good food, wine and company.
A charming stone building, featuring a mix of rustic and traditional architectural elements, is set against a clear blue sky. The structure includes multiple sections with wooden accents and large windows, surrounded by a spacious green lawn that enhances the serene atmosphere.

I highly recommend this home for a relaxing family holiday. Everything is convenient to enjoy moments with young and old: swimming pool, swings, foosball, etc ... we will rent again without hesitation😃!

Lakeside Retreat, Issigeac. Exclusive Lake access

MarionRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What a beautiful, tranquil place this is! We were well looked after by Wendy, and we had a lovely, relaxing time. We hired a car at Bergerac Airport and it was only a twenty minute drive to the property. We liked having our own private access to the good-sized room, and had our own balcony overlooking the lake. There was plenty of wardrobe space and the ensuite had towels and shower gel provided. There was an excellent choice for breakfast, either cooked or continental, which we could eat outside under the grapevines. The grounds were extensive, and we had a fair walk around the far end of the second lake. We viewed the town of Bergerac on a road train and saw the statue of Cyrano de Bergerac. The beautiful medieval village of Issigeac is only five minutes away, and we had a peaceful stroll marvelling at the ancient buildings. We visited a bustling market there and it was fascinating just to look at French life around us. We'll definitely be booking again next year!
