Magnifique moulin restauré en bord de Lot. Situation exceptionnelle, les pieds dans l'eau, au calme toute la journée, la contemplation de la rivière est incroyablement reposante du matin jusqu'au soir. Maison très spacieuse et très agréable avec une très grande pièce à vivre ainsi qu'une très grande terrasse entourée de verdure. Nous avons grandement apprécié la possibilité de faire du kayak au pied de la maison. Possible également de se baigner pour les plus téméraires sinon la plage de Castelmoron est à 3 min en voiture. Le terrain de tennis est un plus. Nicolas est un hôte très accueillant et très arrangeant. Je recommande vivement la location de cette maison pour un moment en famille entouré de nature.

Nous avons passé un super séjour avec nos trois grands ados qui ont testé toutes les activités du domaine ( piscine, paddle, kayak, pétanque...). C'est un endroit paisible et ombragé. La communication avec les hôtes et leurs disponibilités est à noter. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir 😊

We had the most wonderful stay at Emma and John’s idyllic place. From our arrival to our departure, Emma and John could not have been more hospitable and provided us with amazing restaurants and places to see! We also made sure to have enough time to just enjoy the home and the pool! It was myself and three other girls for my bachelorette and Emma and John provided us with amazing food and wine (which we requested/paid for) as well as threw in some Welcome wine and niceties. They run a cooking class as well so I requested a day of cooking with the girls and we had a blast! You must have Emma’s cooking! The bathrooms are great, newly renovated and very stylish equipped with towel heaters as well. The area was perfect as well as we were able to do everything from wine tasting to farmers markets to castle climbing! We look forward to a return stay and recommend for a perfect stay to disconnect and enjoy good food, wine and company.

Magnifique maison avec une vue imprenable et apaisante. Idéale pour partager des moments en famille : la maison est vraiment très agréable à vivre ! Adeline et Bertrand sont des hôtes très sympathiques. Je recommande vivement cette maison pour passer des vacances reposantes en famille. Tout est pratique pour profiter de moments avec petits et grands : piscine, salle de jeux, balançoires, baby-foot, etc ... nous relouerons sans hésiter 😃!

Nathalie et son mari ont été parfait avec notre famille. Les enfants ont adorés les équipements extérieurs la balançoire la cage de foot mais surtout la magnifique piscine et le jacuzzi. Nous recommandons ce gîte et ses hôtes très à l'écoute et soucieux de notre bien être. Logement très propre et fonctionnel... Bref semaine PARFAITE!!

What a beautiful, tranquil place this is! We were well looked after by Wendy, and we had a lovely, relaxing time. We hired a car at Bergerac Airport and it was only a twenty minute drive to the property. We liked having our own private access to the good-sized room, and had our own balcony overlooking the lake. There was plenty of wardrobe space and the ensuite had towels and shower gel provided. There was an excellent choice for breakfast, either cooked or continental, which we could eat outside under the grapevines. The grounds were extensive, and we had a fair walk around the far end of the second lake. We viewed the town of Bergerac on a road train and saw the statue of Cyrano de Bergerac. The beautiful medieval village of Issigeac is only five minutes away, and we had a peaceful stroll marvelling at the ancient buildings. We visited a bustling market there and it was fascinating just to look at French life around us. We'll definitely be booking again next year!
