Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Llantwit Major

Had a wonderful stay at Janine’s place very cosy and homely. Very clean with a nice comfy bed and a good welcome hamper. We were staying for a wedding at St Fagans so the location was ideal and the local taxis service was brilliant. Highly recommend Janine’s place to stay.

We had a fab stay at Gaynors, immaculate, spacious and the view is stunning! Gaynor had thought of everything even having milk and biscuits ready for our arrival! Super friendly and lovely to chat to, finding out about the history of the area and meeting Molly was a highlight! We will be back next year!

House was perfect, immaculate and bedding/towels were too. Tea/coffee amenities on arrival, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. 4 of us stayed 3 nights as we came for a motorbike holiday. Suitable off road parking at rear for our 3 motorbikes, locked secure gate. Very peaceful area even though in an estate. Will 100% stay again next time we visit as our base. Thank you very much for making our break stress free and comfortable. 10/10.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. We were taking part in the Dragon cycling event nearby and this was the perfect base. Sarah and Shaun were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and comfortable. Everything was as per the description. Thank you.

The original cottage has been renovated , decorated and furnished to a very high standard, making it a comfortable place to be. The outdoor space is delightful, with the relaxing sound of the river below and the plentiful birdsong.

What a beautiful, clean, peaceful and well-equipped home this was for our weekend away together! We came as a group of friends for a long weekend of tabletop gaming and my friends couldn’t stop congratulating me on finding such a perfect and lovely spot - but all credit is due to Suzanne for her wonderful home, not me! The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are incredibly comfortable with really good quality bedding. The living space is beautifully furnished and perfect for a small group of friends. The beach is such a short walk away - perfect for a 20 minute decompression stroll - and with a shop nearby for last minute groceries, and the delicious meals of The Sully Inn just a short trot away, this really is the perfect space to stay. I am already wondering how soon we can return.

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay , It was like a home 🏠 from home 🏡, very clean , Garden looks amazing 🤩 Beds most importantly very comfortable, Lynette a very responsive host ,great local walks, amazing mountain ⛰️ views from the windows and garden!we are definitely 👍🏻 coming back!! The apartment was an absolute dream With beautiful views across the harbour and the sea - There’s not many places you can book where you can see both the sunrise and the sunset from the same balcony. The pictures don’t do this place justice, the kitchen is lovely and fully equipped with everything you need. The apartment is lovely and clean and spacious plus comes with your own parking space outside. You also gain access by a key lock which was perfect for us arriving in the late evening. We walked down to the harbour for drinks and food and this was a short walk from the apartment. Leila’s communication was also fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay.

This place is just great in every aspect. A modern, very clean and exceptionally well equipped apartment in a quirky old former school building. I just arrived and felt home immediately. There is even a bean-to-cup-coffee-machine! For a coffee person like me that is a 20 out of 10!! It is really nice place to stay, especially for longer stays. William, the host, is very responsive and super-friendly. If you have a question, you will get an answer within 10 minutes. The location is ideal for good hiking which starts right at the door step. There is a very nice tea room run by the national trust just down the road. The centre of the village is in easy walking distance where you find a variety of shops, cafes and pubs. I will definitely come again.

I had a lovely last-minute stay at Liz’s place — it was absolutely perfect for a quiet night away. It had everything and more needed for it. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly what I needed. Liz was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I would 100% return. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at The Aros. A wonderful apartment with everything you need. It’s a perfect location too. Wonderful view and surrounded by the shops and restaurants but it was still quiet in the evening. We walked everywhere and there was free parking a minute walk away. We had a gorgeous walk to the pier and The Lighthouse restaurant was just perfect. Thank you!

We had an awesome couple of nights in Barbrook! The apartment is super spacious- much more so than photos would suggest- and has everything you need for a cosy and comfortable few days exploring Exmoor and the north Devon coast. Spa bath is a really fun touch and great after a day of walking. Amazing location with river and trees literally on your doorstep, and the sea and Lynton 5mins away. Overall this place is great value for money, and we would definitely stay again if in the area. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great location for access to Gower and the wonderful beaches and countryside.

We had a great stay in the mumbles, very convenient to the local amenities. good sized accommodation and dog friendly which is great!

We really enjoyed staying in this charming former dairy cottage. The views are simply breathtaking and the ground floor apartment was very comfortable. We loved having our breakfast on the little terrace and a lie on the grass at the end of the day was very relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. Attractive furnishings g made for an uplifting stay. Liz made us feel very welcome. Crickhowell a short drive away is delightful and we particularly enjoyed our lunch at The Bear. We hope to return.

This clever barn conversion is quite thoughtfully designed and very comfortable inside and out. The professional level of decoration found a wonderful balance of beauty and homeyness; everything was lovely in the most welcoming way. There was lots of space for our family to spread out, and the beds and linens were excellent. As lovely as the house is, the best part by far is the view. It was absolutely stunning, rain or shine! We found ourselves drawn outside at all hours of the day to enjoy the sights and sounds around us. Just as described, there were places in the house where the wifi was spotty, and the track up through the neighboring farm to the house might be a challenge for some cars. As we had read about the property, we were not surprised and spent an absolutely wonderful week there! There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores 10-15 minutes away in Abergavenny when we could tear ourselves away from this slice of paradise.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

I visited with a family of 9. It was a lovely place, we all felt right at home. Everything was well described in the listing and even better in real than the photos. I highly recommend Simon’s place If you wish to explore Cardiff and surrounding areas. It is a convenient location to station yourself in the city. The house was everything expected and more. The amenities were over and above and made it so easy to feel at home and enjoy our holiday. We were a group of friends including multiple couples and there was lots of social space to be together as a group but still be independent with big spacious well thought out rooms. The house would suits friends or family looking to stay together,is suitable for kids and the fact it was dog friendly was a bonus for our 4 legged friend. The location was perfect, a short walk to the harbour and the sea view was beautiful. I had the master bedroom on the first floor and waking up to those views was amazing. Oliver was a fantastic host, quick to respond or confirm anything I needed. I would 100% recommend this home and everyone that joined us said the same. The home made our 40th birthday celebrations even more special. Thank you Oliver
