Vacation rentals in Llano de Mariato

One of the best Airbnb places I’ve stayed in! Mauricio is an amazing host. He is super friendly and accommodating, yet very respectful of guests privacy. The place is very well situated with an excellent kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds and furniture, a nice private outdoor space, and a lovely shower with good hot water. There is even an outdoor set up to rinse the sand off your feet after a walk or swim in the ocean. Everything was as promised. The photos on the listing are current and accurate. It’s a great location with an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and several restaurants. The WiFi was fast and reliable. We could have stayed longer very comfortably. I highly recommend. You won’t regret it!

Next time I’d try to book directly with Bambuda. The hotel is new and beautiful with a nice pool, ocean view, and great restaurant. The one thing that was challenging is they were unable to provide a blanket for the bunk beds, only a sheet (or extra) which was a challenge and our kids ended up in bed with us. Otherwise the stay was great.

We had beautiful days in Lago Bay. The house is large and well furnished, the kitchen well equipped. The property is beautiful and huge. Lots of great plants grow and you have direct beach access. You can watch a lot of different birds all day long. Brett had great tips for us, e.g. where to buy good fish. We highly recommend the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Katie and Scot’s peaceful cabin. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. The bathroom is great with hot water and good water pressure. We highly recommend booking a meal with Katie if available as she is an amazing chef and sources top quality ingredients. Scot took us on a snorkel trip to the beautiful Isla Cébaco and shared all kinds of local knowledge. The cabin has a beautiful view and is very peaceful and quiet. It’s also located very close to both the beach and the stunning Torio waterfall. Thanks to Katie and Scot for a magical stay!

Dawn‘s Airbnb was very nice. I especially liked the pool and bathroom. Dawn was very friendly and helpful. She is very knowledgeable about the area and offered advice on tour companies and things to do in the area. It was a very short walk to the ocean and a nice restaurant. The property is very secure as you drive through a locked gate. The town of Santa Catalina is only a 20 minute drive.

We absolutely loved our stay at Darren's place. The view is priceless with beautiful sunsets and the infinity pool is all you need for an ultimate relaxation. The house was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I personally dig the fact that there is no TV in the house because it forces you to connect with nature and enjoy the area that has so much to offer. The kitchen was well equipped for quick meals and the grill was a plus. We would definitely stay at this house again when we visit the area.

We loved the place. It works perfect for a couple, it has everything you need. It is very clean and very quiet. We enjoyed the terrace quite a lot and the bed was very comfortable. Paola, the host, was very helpful with all our questions and needs. Oh, and if you are into really good local seafood, do not miss out on Chano's Place Seafood Restaurant, you will not regret it.

Perfect, private place with a nice atmosphere. Good choice to spend some time to explore Isla Coiba and surfing spots in Santa Catalina.

We had a lovely holiday there. The neighborhood is very nice, on a hill, calm and quiet. Nice hosts, they even shared fish from the catch once. There are great diving centers in the area.
