very nice house to be with friends. it worked perfectly for 3 couples and 4 children. with proper heating for the cold. outdoor area for good for playing with children. kitchen equipped with appliances to be able to feel at home.

Stephanie and Wim were extremely helpfull, cooperative and made us feel right at home! Respected our privacy and let us enjoy the amazing view and scenary without ever disturbing even given the circumstances (the garden is shared and they're house was right next to ours) As for the house itself it was really cozy and with a homy feeling, it an amazing view, equipped kitchen, TV and everything you need. The outdoors are enormous and great for hikes and exploring the river and woods, the view from the house and outside is breathtaking especially on those early sun-rises And the jacuzzi was the cherry on top of the house, was amazing and really customizable. 10/10 would recommend and will certainly come back here! I booked this Airbnb as a surprise for my girlfriend and we had a lovely time - the hosts were very friendly and communicative, the house was very well equipped, super cozy, organized and clean. The outdoors, the jacuzzi and the shared spaces were amazing, we even got to see the fireflies at night! Would absolutely love to book again!

This was the most amazing villa we’ve stayed in. We stayed in the main villa that features a wonderful kitchen, outside BBQ and the most wonderful lounge area (huge!) that has a bi-folds on to a balcony that looks out to rolling hills. The facilities are brand new, and include everything you need. Each room has its own balcony area, that leads on to private lawns with loungers. To the opposite site of the villa, a large pool that is cleaned every morning. Vitor is on site for any questions/help. There can be a strong breeze so bring something with sleeves for sitting out in the evenings.

Hosts were incredibly gracious and helpful. Made our stay feel very welcoming. Absolutely spectacular location within a nice hike to Guincho beach. Small market around the corner for essentials. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. If we go back to Cascais, will absolutely look to stay here again.

The house was very spacious with a large pool. We had a great time and Miguel was very responsive! I recommend it, we'll be back!

Jose’s place is a little paradise in Alenquer with such an amazing array of flora and wildlife. The pool is large and well equipped with many sun loungers. A breakfast mostly made from produce grown within the gardens was made on the Sunday morning (the jam, cheesecake and carrot cake were particularly good, best we’ve ever tasted!) which was a very welcome surprise. Paola created some lemonade with Lemons and mint from the gardens and it was simply delicious. Jose even gave us five huge Sicilian Lemons to take with us once we left for home! We were staying for four days as we were over from the UK for a wedding which was hosted only 1km away, but we have to say this place would easily justify a holiday in itself. Everyone couldn’t do enough to help us, given my wife is 30 weeks pregnant and our overall experience of Jose’s place, Alenquer and Portugal was nothing short of beautiful. Thank you Jose and Paola for treating us like a King and Queen during our stay, we will never forget

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could need. There are a bunch of fun bars and restaurants to explore in the area. There’s public transport available nearby, but all the main attractions are also in walking distance. We felt comfortable and safe walking around at night as the streets are well lit and there are always people out. Karen and her co-hosts were very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again!

A friendly reception and a quirky house with lots of character. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra, but perfect if you have a car and like to self cater.

We had a lovely week! :) The house is spacious, surrounded by neighbouring homes, yet with a beautiful garden. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were attentive— they welcomed us in person and explained everything in great detail, including tips for local trips. They also thoughtfully provided safety features for children, such as a stair gate and plug socket covers. It was a very kind gesture to find some fresh basic groceries in the fridge upon arrival — much appreciated! There are nice beaches nearby, and our children especially loved the Dino Park in Lourinhã. The village itself isn’t particularly walking-friendly as there are no pavements. However, it’s still an easy walk into the town of Lourinhã. There is a church directly behind the house that chimes with a loud melody every half hour. It didn’t disturb us much, but it is quite noticeable. Nothing to complain about — a lovely house and very kind hosts :)

This is the second year we've stayed here, and we'll continue to do so because everything in this Casinha is good energy and comfort, and Erika is exceptional, attentive, kind and generous.

If you are looking for a nice and quiet place close to the beach and close to a train station to Lisbon, then you are really in the right place. Super friendly and helpful host and hostess. Palacio de Montserrate is close and well worth it. This place is highly recommended!

We loved our visit, as apartment was comfortable, pool was awesome, close to everything, and she was a very attentive host.

Even though it rained during our stay, we really enjoyed our time at Antonio’s house. The location is absolutely stunning – right in front of the ocean – and the house itself is very cozy, especially with the fireplace. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, which we really appreciated. With five people, it felt a little tight indoors when the weather wasn’t great, especially around the small table. On sunny days, I’m sure it’s twice as beautiful with the outdoor space. Antonio was very proactive and checked in with us several times – a very thoughtful host.

What a fantastic place. Spotless and felt very much like home. Weather wasn’t great but sure that’s out of everyone’s control. I would suggest having a car only because the microclimate meant you need to go over the mountain to find the sun!!🤪

Lovely house in a lovely, peaceful location. Very clean. Perfect location for day trips to Magoito beach, Sintra and Lisbon. A car is recommended to get around, but we managed without and just used Uber and public transport. There is a bus to Magoito beach (7 mins) and Portela de Sintra (35 mins) + 10 mins walk to the bus stop in the village. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful when one of our group suffered a minor injury at the beach and had to go to hospital. There is a little Spar in the village which is pretty well stocked. There are also some nice and authentic restaurants (I had a lovely ‘dourada’ at ‘Cantinho da Jo’) and cafes (we liked cafe Lucio). I would recommend staying at Cristina’s house. It was perfect for our family get-together.

Very good hospitality from the host who is very responsive, accommodating, with whom communication is easy. A cute house where it has everything you need, in a quiet location, well located for Sintra and Lisbon. The outside is very pleasant and well appointed. The bathroom is small and only smelly inconvenience. We had a great time here for a week.

Wonderful place in a calm area

We had a great stay here - loads of space, felt at home, very nice feel to it - definitely a property that has been loved! It was a bit chilly inside in February, but the fire was lovely to have and we were left with plenty of wood and materials, as well as a really cosy big extra blanket. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking every night and we loved using the BBQ outside on the patio. The weather was lovely so we had breakfast & lunch on the patio. There was a small problem with hot water not working in the kitchen but the host sorted it super quickly when we let them know. Joao was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The location is lovely - quiet and authentic - space for the car just outside. We made trips to Nazare and Peniche quickly and it was easy to get back to the airport. A town very nearby with multiple grocery stores and restaurants. We had a great time and would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a great stay at Yolanda’s house. Perfect amount of space and reasonably close to Cascais and other things likes beaches and Sintra. Easy to get to Lisbon from there too. Would definitely stay there again
