Had a great stay. The only minus point is that there is only 1 toilet.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a lovely stay. Spacious and comfortable house. Everything is there. You immediately feel at home. At the back, you walk into a beautiful forest. Delicious. For shops, outings, activities, a car is necessary. If we were to mention a downside, it is that the road is closer than previously thought. Were with three teenagers and especially playing basketball and soccer in front of the house they liked very much

We spent a very nice weekend in this vacation home of Lotta. It is located in the middle of nature and was just right for a break from everyday life. Communication with Lotta was super friendly and accommodating. She picked us up directly and informed us about everything, so we could enjoy the weekend to the fullest. Great stay! Convenient for visiting Essen Messe

A very nice, large house that can accommodate many people. We were invited to the wedding nearby, it was perfect for our needs. The terrace is cozy, the dining table huge, so we were more than comfortable with 9 people. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen well appointed. We highly recommend the house.

Alexandra & Maik's cottage is really beautiful. It is warmly decorated and has a characteristic appearance. Everything is available to make you feel comfortable. You can walk up a hiking trail directly from the cottage. Ideal with a dog. Please note the stairs to the living area. Alexandra was very helpful and friendly. In the area you can take beautiful walks. You also have your own terrace overlooking the beautiful garden, adjacent to the forest. All in all a wonderful place to spend your vacation. Highly recommended!

Very nice stay at this small Alpaca/Llama farm. We were hosted very well, the hosts are very friendly and flexible. The place is quiet and relaxing, there is the possibility to spend time with the animals. The apartment is very well arranged, there is everything you might need, and very clean!

We had a nice stay here for a few days to look around Siegburg a bit more. Nice place, well equipped and cleaned. big balcony with BBQ and sun loungers was lovely to use. Very local to shops but secluded in it's location. Nice walks in the locale and 5 minutes walk from the train station. Birgit and Christoph looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed, really nice couple.

Aggi & Lars were very friendly and likeable hosts, the apartment really nice and clean and the location a dream. We felt very comfortable with dog and two toddlers and are happy when we have the opportunity to spend our family vacation there again.

Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

Super friendly hosts and great booking processing.

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.
